Slap on mods are weird, they keep the controller but slap on new buttons and call it “new.” May as well just keep the original buttons It gives that weird combo of old and new with the fact it even maintains the floor passing chime in some cases, and the out of sync indicators common in e401s.

Those are not ID, those are on PORT controllers with ID keypads. The architect specially requested the ID keypads.

I like the brakes on this. I feel like this elevator looks and feels more sturdy than modern Schindler MRLs. Nice find!
