@@WanderwithWill 😂. I actually have a Hiker trailer and tried to get my daughter and son is law to use it Father’s Day weekend and have a nice weekend to themselves without the boys (1&3 year olds). It is funny, the last video of yours I watched was at St Joseph’s Peninsula and that has probably become my favorite state park is Florida to visit. I am still looking for the right place to take the camper in the mountains in North Georgia closer to your neck of the woods. I love the content and message you are putting out. My love and appreciation of the outdoors and camping has really coincided with the growth of my faith. Keep doing what you are doing!

@@jmac13131 I was looking at those hiker trailers last night. Super inexpensive without sacrificing quality! Love that! My neck of the woods has TONS of primitive campsites off of forestry roads or more quality campgrounds if you're wanting bathrooms and electric hook-ups. I'm happy to give you some insights so you don't have to scout them all by yourself.

@@WanderwithWill I was lucky to find a used one at a Camping World outside of Auburn. Basically was able to get it about 1/3 of the price that it would cost to build new. It has all the bells and whistles for a great off grid set up (solar, 270° awning, 20+ gallon water tank and shower, etc) but I use it at full hook up sites as well. I love how easy it is to haul and it feels more camping than glamping. My thoughts were to initially stay at a campground and maybe scout some of the forest service roads in the area for a return trip. Any recommendations would be great!

Check out Shady Grove Campground if you’re looking for hook-ups - or Sawnee Campground. Both are located in Cumming, GA which is a little south, but have great sites on Lake Lanier. If you’re wanting to stay north, check out Amicalola State Park - massive waterfall and beautiful lodge at the top of the mountain. Send me a picture of your camping set up! If/When you’re in town, maybe I can showcase it on the channel!

Yes. Thank you for asking! We were on a cruise to the Bahamas filming one of our upcoming videos. Praise the Lord, the hurricane didn’t hit our community as hard as originally projected. Unfortunately, many communities in NC and TN are devastated. I was scheduled to camp at Mount Pisgah on top of the Blue Ridge Parkway 10/6 - 10/9 for a video but they cancelled all reservations through the end of the year. Most roads are destroyed. So heartbreaking.

Maybe this is exactly what the Lord is calling you to? You are ministering to the needs of your mom - you are not wasting time. Understand, it is for a season and God is preparing you for the next season. Trust His timing no matter how hard it is. When He calls you to the next assignment, be obedient and take action. Praying for God to sustain you and empower you during this time.

Thank you for watching! I hope you decide to sub! When it comes to ideal camping spots, I typically gravitate toward the streams. In north Georgia, we have lots of trout streams and I love fishing. It's one of my favorite activities during the day. Although I'm not against camping on top of the mountain, it must be a pretty good view to make it worth it to me. Here is what I do that may help... find a primitive campsite online off of an old forestry road, and take a few hours to find it and explore the connecting roads. It's a TON of fun just exploring and getting outside without a set agenda. Just see where the Lord takes you and where He directs you. I will usually find a spot that is NOT in the campground, so it's more isolated and perfect for me. Then, when I am planning my trip, that is usually the first place I go! Let me know if you have any other questions!

@@WanderwithWill would that happen to be Saint Joseph Peninsula Park on Cape San Blas? We vacation on the cape almost every year. I’ve been in that Piggly Wiggly many times. Also Blue Water Outfitters next door. We absolutely love that coast From Mexico Beach, all the way to Carrabelle.

@@Taterhole That’s the one! They just recently reopened the group site after the hurricane that destroyed the peninsula four or five years ago. We were happy to be back.

@@WanderwithWill my uncle had a condo in the parking area for the pier in Mexico Beach and a house that being built just a couple blocks away and lost both of them in the hurricane. He now lives in Port Saint Joe. My wife and I really love that area!

@@Taterhole Wow… 🤯 that is heartbreaking. Love the area too. My sister lived down there for a year and she felt like it was paradise. Her two children didn’t like the schools they were in so they moved back to Cumming. It never ceases to amaze me how connected we all are.
