Ripped from game files via Game Extractor and looped. It's basically alternate version of beginning section of Demanufacture from Fear Factory.

My dad got me MDK2 and Messiah in 2000 when I was like 8 year old both games had music so good I'd sit in the menu just listening to that shit. These games feel like they're from a different timeline lol

Honestly, some renders of Bob I saw every once in a while in gaming Magazines as a kid always made me think the game was some sort of Dark Religious Horror game and I was always fascinated by it. Who was this little Cherub? Was he the player character? A NPC? An Enemy? If he is the player character, WHAT is my enemy? Do I HAVE enemies? Am I being hunted? Then, what, 12 years later. I am 21, get interested in a series called "Ross' game Dungeon". And next thing I know, lo and behold, I see one of the thumbnails... and a name. And that so familiar render of a Cherub... and a... render of a futuristic cop..? It was finally my chance to see what this little guy's journey was. And I am not exaggerating when I say Messiah not only subverted my expectations, but absolutely SURPASSED my imagination. None, and I mean NONE of Bob's renders could've prepared me for the Cyberpunk insanity that is Messiah.
I'm sure that actually played a part in this game selling like bottled farts. Nobody could figure out what the fuck it was about. I remember seeing previews in magazines for the PS1 port Messiah was supposed to get soon and still not understanding what the adult-oriented game with the child angel in futureland was even supposed to be. This concept wasn't even ahead of its time, it was outside of the timeline entirely.

I wonder if there was anyone who bought this because of the cute baby angel on the cover, and then were shocked when they were greeted by this song on the title screen.
That happened to me in Christmas 2000, I was 8 years old. I had no idea what present I want for Christmas, and my parents called home while shopping and they asked me which game I want. They looked at the box, they saw a little angel and they bought it xD Then we launched the game, we got in the menu, Fear Factory kicked in, during intro there was an explosion and we were like: "hold on, what the fuck is this?". It was a cool game after all; a little bit disturbing (I was still a kid, and this game was cruel) but I liked it anyway. I have it on GOG today, maybe one day I will replay it once more

@@RaTcHeT302 Most of their _Demanufacture_ album is on Messiah. During Ross' gameplay I heard "Demanufacture" and "Self-Bias Resistor". Edit: The game does have it's own separate original score though.

Install game, install Game Extractor (full version can be "borrowed" from net Kappa). In game extractor, in right panel go into game's main directory. I don't remember anymore if sound files were in bgm/sound folder or in some kind of .dat file, but if you click on any file in right panel, and that file is readable by program, it will show up any resources it had found (txt, wav, png) in main window which can be previewed and later extracted. Extractor has pretty straightforward UI, just try to click on everything when in doubt.

TroPtyN Greenmangaming has it, but it crashes when you enter the elevator shortly after reaching the first Cop vs Schot battle.
Yes that was a common bug. You needed to disable pre-cache and or disable sound, save the game after the part..quick and enable sound again.
