If there was AoE healing from the box, they could make it so that useless health regen perk you always have to get rid of on new soldiers would interact with that and actually give it a reason to exist. The regen should also only kick in out of combat, so if you haven't taken damage for a certain amount of time, like 5 seconds. The box should have a maximum amount of regen it can provide before it automatically breaks itself. AoE healing from boxes shouldn't stack for obvious reasons. Just having a medic in your squad should allow soldiers that are out of medkits to have a chance to be downed instead of outright dying, and soldiers that do have medkits would have an increased chance at being downed. I think this would be preferable to outright resurrecting a dead soldier. Most squads don't even have the ability to add a medic, so that would have to change. The medic squad itself should be able to unlock an engineer slot, so you could have either 5 medics or 4+1 engineer. Having such a high score for healing would be overkill, I mean destroying a rally (one of the most impactful things someone can do) only gives you 55 score.

Handing out bandages from the medical box would make medics so much more usable. They definitely need something that gives them an advantage over rifleman that have been converted to act as medics.

This ability should just be added to the scout squad.

I mean you have the ability to equip binoculars, and you could also use your Radio Operator in Two ways, equip a sniper in that class and use them more near the rear witch i did for a bit but found it to be stale, or use them as forward observers witch i currently do, and about this most classes have the ability for Radio Operators to be put in them, i personally like using my LMG squad with a Radio Operator and Engineer to build a Machine Gun nest while being able to call in Artillery "Currently only with the German and Americans, still working on the russian and Japanese" , we dont need a spotter class, if anything we need a Commando class, i personally thought the guerilla unit was goofy because their essentially just partisians or atleast thats how they feel to me, also almost every class i use i unlock the Radio Operator and Engineers for them, Snipers, Assaulters and Anti Tankers just dont cut it for me, Assaulters and Anti tankers i will add occasionally depending on the class and what others are their to be unlocked, we have spotters already, its just depends on how you play...

Great idea! What if they made the spotter class as you've described, but called it the officer class? Another good addition would be if it could blow a whistle and get your ai squad to bayonet charge nearby enemies.

This class in my mind would encourage more marking/ better teammate behavior in general as well as giving the developers a reason to flesh out the interactive map but what do you guys think ?

BS 7:35 I am a German fighter main and that's coming from getting 150+ kills mostly without bombs, the Japs have some decently good weapons, but shovels and engineers are your best friends

when I started playing I mained USSR until BR V (havent grinded everything tho) so I like to play japan for the bolt actions, something that USSR lacks, the only good bolt action is the winchester, that I sidelined to play the PPS-43, also you get katanas and the lunge mines, so playing Japan was a fun. 76.92 winrate in 26 battles, 8h and 45 minutes in game, 1.75 K/D

Personally I don't have any issue with the so called smoke spam. In a lot of games, that's the only way to do a proper push and to get closer to objetives. I find it kind of dumb that they want to punish that strat as there's sometimes no other way of pushing certain parts of maps. But hey, I guess there's a majority and that's why it's being adressed. Speaking of the thermal sights, it's ok if it doesn't have any proper cons. Depending of the size of the sight, it could have none as it would be like a red dot sight in your gun. But if the sight is bigger, say, as the ones on the sniper rifles, then it's only expected to have the handling impacted the most. Other than that, forcing you to aim using an offside sight it's kinda dumb, as the thermal can be used as a normal sight most of the time. And if it has a lot of zoom, you will not using in CQC neither on guns with lots of recoil.

Is that why i get thrown into a japan match randomly and keep geting a trial of a japan squad

This game need a good matchmaking its hard to play a game against opponent who are proplayer and you are mostly mid player

Starting out fresh with the Japanese faction has made me love the game again. Ive had plenty of games with 100 + Kills. I win 7/10 games i would say

I like Japan but I always got "join any army" checked. Now funnily I assumed that would mostly put me on germany since they (I think) appear on most maps, and Japan the least (which was true, until the Burma update) However 70% of my games put me in America ("Allies"), then about 15% Soviet Union, 10% Japan and only 5% Germany. I guess most people do not play auto-team and select Germany then, and the least amount of people willingly select USA?

My only issues with Japan is that their tanks are usually kinda ass, and that their map choices are pretty limited to "jungle". I appreciate that a new map was just added, but some variety would be nice. It's super niche, but I think Japan fought like once in Alaska or something, that could be cool.

Also the zero is great but gets outmatched quickly so BR2 it is lol

My perspective is as a Germany main, I love bolt action rifles, and Type 99s are kino. Also love the voicelines for charging with a bayonet on my ridiculously long rifle

Played about 4200 maps and the AI has been the worst I've ever seen. Even set on aggressive stance, they stand there and let an enemy with a bolt rifle kill them one after another. I can be shooting out a window and an enemy will burst into the room and kill me then each squad member as I spawn into them. It's getting real old, real fast. I cannot believe this is an insurmountable issue for Darkflow/Gaigin, but based on their addressing the issue thus far, they have failed big time.

I feel the reason people steer away from japan is due to them only facing the allies. I know thats why I stopped playing them. It just got boring facing the same faction every fight. Same with the russians. Thats why DF needs to go full circle and add the soviet invasion of manchuria as well as the Changkufeng and Nomonhan incidents. Everyone would have 2 factions for face and things would never get boring.

I do wonder how much of it may be related to lack of combat variety. As others have pointed out I think a larger impact no one plays Japan is that they like the Soviets only have one partner to match against, that being the US, Unlike the Soviets however, there is not a plethroa of varied combat styles unlike the Soviets have access to there is a pretty nice difference between Moscow, Stalingrad, and Berlin maps to keep gameplay for the Soviets varied. I think a solution that I think a lot of the community is moving for is a Manchuria campaign.

It's not that I don't like the Japanese Army. It's because I often get to fight alongside some pretty spirited teammates. But I also certainly don't want to play in a unit that constantly gets cold feet at events and doesn't add event troops for a year!

I play Japan all the time but mostly Tier 2 and 3. The type 97 machine gun having a scope is very devastating, IMHO. I love the type 2a SMG, as it has very little recoil, and I have been a War Thunder player since Jan. 2013. I almost always win dogfights with the AM6, as well as placing bombs accurately. I will admit that I have only been playing Enlisted for about 4 months.

If China was added to Enlisted, either the player count will drop or the game will be banned in China, on the other hand the winrate for China and Japan will skyrocket. Reasons : 1. China's involvement in WW2 was underrepresented in World History books and all sorts of media even today. 2. Republic of China led Kuomintang or Chinese Nationalist Party (the arch enemy of the Chinese Communist Party led PRC) was the one doing most of the fighting against Japanese aggression, so it would ruined the current PRC's propaganda efforts in Mainland China.

I want to play, but the waiting time is very long, around 2.30-3 minutes. It just needs lots more of guns and vehicles and people will play it.

I only play Japan... what I seriously miss are more maps... same stuff all over. Unrealistic weapons... completely messed up "knee mortar", lack of other mortars... small infantry gun-mortar... too much experimental stuff on the other hand.

What would be interesting for ussr and japan would be to add when they fought in the late war in the north of china, that would had content and make Japan have diverse ennemies
