@@serijas737 Hehehe, yeah still working on a new name so there's bound to be some mishaps! :P There is a demo for this, but it's not updated to the current version yet. I'm working towards releasing a full demo on Steam with a storyline and a dungeon runthrough, serving as the entrypoint to the rest of the game. If the game appeals to you and you wanna try it out when I drop the new demo, the best way to track this is by subbing here or joining Discord (link in Description) - as I'll be rebranding the game's name at some point hehe :)

The game is classless and spells come as items, so adding some spells that have a purple necromancer-y look could be cool. Or do you mean purple spells in general, or did you have something else in mind? :) Thanks for the suggestion!

Rumor is that Dungeoneborne is the game Nexon was quietly working on, because Dark and Darker was hit with a C&D by Nexon for stolen assets from their identical game project. At least one of D&D's core devs worked for Nexon, too. Mithril Interactive has a suspiciously non-existent online presence, placing Dungeonborne as a candidate for rumors as the Nexon game in question

Absolutely, there's been a lot more exposure, although I've had people downloading the demo, shook by why it was a different game hahaha. I was bummed out by it in the beginning, but I've grown accustomed to the thought of change - in my opinion it was a badass game name for the setting, but the project will be more than a dungeon crawler so just gotta come up with a new and exciting name. This is not DungeonbornE. Dungeonborn is a coop PvE with procedural dungeon generation, and is not a PvPvE loot extractor. You're not the first to mistake the two games for another since they renamed their project. But hey, if you say that Dungeonborn is a copy and paste of Dark and Darker I'll take that as good credit, as I'm a solo dev, and apparently Dungeonborn is on par with DaD 💪

I don’t have a VR kit and unfortunately I have no experience coding for VR. 😅 Not sure how hard it is to migrate a PC project to work with VR, but if it’s possible it would most likely be a milestone along with consoles down the road😊

@@dungeonborn I would not feel like I would be fighting something if I had to keep hitting it with my weapon. The tall monsters with the great sword. Looks like it is immune to damage. I know it is a boss. The run-in, attack, and get-out strategy looks great in a video game. While yet it is a video game. It still breaks emersion. If this was Dark Souls and it is not. You would have been crouch poking the boss. But you could borrow from that. Just make the boss a little faster. Could you make it more aggressive? And less of a meat shield? Another commenter suggested having the imps surround you. Once you entered the room. I agree with them. While having the Boss tank. As in it tries to force you to fight it. I hope that helps and also take my criticism with a grain of salt. Which is gonna be a lot of coding.

I’ve added physical hit reactions (IK), stat-based hit reaction animation, and combined with staggers since this video went live, and that makes it come to life a bit more. I’ll also make it a bit faster! 😊 I will make it so the small creatures swarm the player. Dungeonborne and Dungeonborn are not the same project. I've been working under this project name for over a year, while Mithril Studios suddenly changed their game's name to something very similar. Different projects. 🤭@@user-jm4sm6fm1i
