For a video that has a header "How to monitor Apache kafka using Dynatrace" I find this tutorial not helpful. Too much attention has been put on setting up Kafka message procuder & consumer. Meanwhile only the last few minutes have been utilised to demonstrate the meesages visible in Dynatrace. From my POV this tutorial could be made better by focusing more on Dynatrace rather than setting up Kafka brokers. Focus could be put on setting up Dynatrace and steps to ensure that Kafka messages are monitored in Dynatrace, what are the roadblocks, errors & how to solve them. Scenatrio wise explanation would help.

Hi Ravi, very nice session. Below are some questions I noted down with the right answers. Q 32: 3. Acceptable performance of an action can vary based on user expectation. Because option 2 states that its MANDATORY to set different performance thresholds for key user action. But actually, it is not mandatory and we only do it so that we can track each user action separately with different thresholds. Q 33: 4. if it exceeds 5%, network monitoring is paused. Q 35: 1. tags defined on the system can be harder to change… hence metadata is recommended for DT to add tags dynamically. Q 36: 1, 2 and 3. Even historical data is retained for 5 years. Option 4 is wrong as code-level can be retained for upto 35 days for service requests. Q 38: How is option 4 true? How can SQL server can be managed? - Doubt Q 42: All user session data, along with session replay data is stored for 35 days. Q 46: Question is about host health, but how can RAM be related to host memory? Isn't RAM related to heap and not considered for calculation of memory health? So answer should only be page faults and memory used and swap usage. - Doubt
