The Konan Alps is a popular area of nature activities located in southern Shiga prefecture. There are various trails and we can enjoy granite hills, panoramic views of Lake Biwa, historical ruins, wetland and waterfalls. I hiked one of them, Mt.Sasamagatake course, today.

Nice video I love the Higa area. Can you walk from the station to the trailhead?
Thank you so much for watching. I think it might be too far to walk. It takes 25 min to get to the trailhead by bus from the station.
