As always please remember, I am not a doctor. I do not diagnose, prescribe, or claim to cure any illness or ailments. Nothing I say or create has been evaluated by the FDA, so please use your own researching capabilities and talk to your health care provider before trying any new herb or remedy.
That being said, herbs have been used effectively for thousands of years. Their power is incredibly strong. Less is more when it comes to plant medicine.
My goal with my apothecary is to share the knowledge I gain with the community around me. Herbal medicine is to be shared not hidden.

Digging Yellow Dock, Fall of 2018
Переглядів 445 років тому
In this video I show you an awesome find of Yellow Dock and talk a little about her and her iron building benefits.
This looks good. Do you links to the products you use?
Thank you for sharing this! I’m going to collect some cleavers and make my first proper tincture! 💚
Don’t you add honey??
Thank you very much for the interesting video!!. From Brazil
Taaka makes a 100proof vodka, I live in Northern MN and found it at one liquor store in our area, just look for a red label.
Helpful video again. I hope you continue to make more herbal medicine videos... hang in there! Yes, not drinking yet buying lots of vodka is kinda funny. People ask me how I like my drinks...(standing in the checkout lane) and when I say that I only use it for medicinal use... they give me a, 'I get what you mean' kind of knowing look that I have to then correct and say HERBAL medicine... tinctures and such! 😂 (Sure lady... whatever you say...)
Thanks for the video. I went through all of my 100 proof vodka bottles, and all I have left is 80 proof. (Just let it set a bit longer...) Love medicine making... spring is a busy time. (Always seem to need more vodka - olive oil - beeswax - and canning jars and amber jars!)
Have you ever used Blue spruce? I did in bourbon and it is delicious.
You make a weed look so pretty! Lol! Might have just been the camera angle, but it actually is a beautiful flower!
It really is beautiful. Its just made that way.
I had no idea people could be allergic to day lilies!😱
Yes. Sometimes is can cause an upset stomach diarrhea and vomiting. If you eat too many even without an allergy you may experience this too.
I keep searching here in Vermont for cleavers, I see plants that look like it but they don't stick/ cling
CHERIE martin Cleavers definitely is sticky. You could have sweet woodruff but it is hard to identify without a photo. Your best bet would to be to pick up a field guide for your area. Check in damp shady areas.
@@northwoodswildwoman-wildri2691 Thank you, I'll check our damp shady areas
I too Love Herbs, catnip tincture is amazing foe getting over whelmed!
Catnip is probably my favorite ally right now. I need to harvest and make some more tincture.
Was great to see the herb part of your garden. Some of them I would not have thought would grow in Wisconsin. Hope you have a beautiful and bountiful year!!
Deborah Smith Thank you for the comments! 💖 There are a couple I can grow but they will have to be replanted in the spring. Like Spilanthes, and California poppy.
