Are you not worried that the students will just take all those pencils, highlighters, etc., and destroy them? My daughter's students kept taking all the pencils and she found out from the janitors that they were stuffing pencils in the toilets.

I am not sure if it was this video or one of the others, however here is my key for tests in the classroom. I allowed my kiddos to use cheat sheets. They were allowed one 3x5 notecard front and back with anything they wanted on it. They had to turn the notecard in with their test and could not share. The kiddos thought I was allowing them to get by with something but I was tricking them! I would give put a study guide and go over it with them (hearing, reading, and writing it once) then when they went home to make the cheat sheet they would read and write ir a second time. They also has to know the major concepts because one would have to summarize,, abbreviat, and use their own shorthand to fit all the info on the index card.. They were STUDYING! I noticed that by the time they took the test very few were using the cheat sheet. This worked especially good with Freshmen as they were adjusting to a high school science test compared to middle school. Just something that worked for me.

Your upbeat attitude is what will get you through. These kids have been cooped up for so long without all their peers around that they are wanting to use the classroom to get acquainted with each other again. I read online where one teacher sd that EVERY grade K thru 12th grade was like a kindergarten class where EVERY teacher has to go over the basics of classroom discipline EVERY day....so hang in the Mrs. Richardson...you got this!!!

Very good haul! I also live in SC and the area i live in allows try ons. Also, if there is a Miracle Hill near you, they often have nice items. You can wear the green dress in the cooler months with tights and a cardigan and you can add a cami to the floral dress to correct the low cut. Congrats on your weight loss!

I did my teacher outfit shopping at Goodwills and other thrift shops my first year of teaching and now I continue to shop for my outfits there. You can find such good deals and awesome clothes. I too love me some good Cardigans.
