Pickle Springs a must do hike!!

As 2024 winds down, we’re wrapping up the year with a new kind of adventure! With the camper tucked away for the winter, we traded in our wheels for hiking boots and headed to the stunning Pickle Springs Natural Area.
The 2 ½-hour drive was so worth it-this place is a gem! Recent rains brought gorgeous little waterfalls throughout the trail, and the sunny skies made it a perfect day to explore the incredible rock formations. If you’re in East Missouri or anywhere in the state, add this spot to your must-visit list. We’ll definitely be back!

"Never expected to find such massive sand dunes in Michigan! When you're in Michigan, the lake feels like the ocean-until you realize there's no salt. Now we get why the T-shirts say 'unsalted!'
