This is a proof of concept of a four-way nether portal. Four nether portals are placed strategically in the 'overworld', and one in the nether. All four overworld portals link to the single nether portal, and placing yourself in each of the corners of the nether portal links to the associated overworld portal.

The new redstone repeater has just been released. Here is some footage of its unique behavior. Among the most interesting of its features is that it does not seem capable of burning out, allowing for extremely fast clocks to be set up. I anticipate Kiershar creating horrible annoying machines from these.
Old minecart station

This is an older minecart station I made to test out the idea of a shared hopper, a reliable cart exit system, and always-ready carts that are difficult to disturb accidentally. I call it old because I will not be developing any further systems that involve constantly in motion boosters since they are not completely reliable. I've moved on to door based boosters.
Improved day and night detector

Moving minecarts above the max speed

It seems tracks composed of disjoint turns seem to allow minecarts to move faster than straight tracks. I've not tried putting a booster next to it, I'm not sure if the booster would be able to keep up, or if a second row of disjoint track next to it (which is possible) would achieve a boosting effect. I'm not sure if this is possible in all directions, I tried for a while but gave up

No i havent noticed that problem yet, ill keep and eye out for it, but i ran if for a fair while 2day. btw im playing in snapshot 13w04a (just for reference)
right, after about an hours testing, i managed to get both sides hooked up perfectly. in the end i used 1 clock with 3 outputs: one for each side, so that only the side that is occupied is activated, and the 3rd output goes to the middle connecting piston which activates if either side is occupied. Basically they all go into the lava stream with no casualties. (P.S. I gave u a sub btw)

is this reliable? ie do any blaze get trapped or suffocated?
It's easier to get the color scheme on even layered puzzles right if you do it that way. But in my opinion it's not worth the time you're spending additionally because you can't see both faces at the same time.

i am creating a similar dual blaze trap and was wondering if you could help me with the clock circuit wiring? you go over it really quickly in the vid and it's tricky to see how it's done. perhaps a illustration reference link or tutorial vid? any assistance would be much appreciated. =]
Its not a bug its actually part of the wiring such as putting not a piston next to it but a repeater it will extend the wiring making it easier to use.
