It was great to see him the other day here in LA. What a treat to the ears and eyes to see one last sighting of Jeff Lynne. Hope he gets back to being healthy.

I came back from summer in Alaska for the last two tours, I was hoping to make that concert in Indy but it just didn't work out, though I'm sure glad some of you made it!!!!!!!

I am glad you enjoyed yourselves at Jeff's ELO "Over and Out" concert in Indianapolis. I have been an avid fan of Jeff and ELO dating back to the early 70's with the original lineup being: Richard Tandy, Bev Bevan, Kelly Graucutt, Roy Wood and Hugh Mc Dowell. Today's current lineup for his last tour looks just as musical talented. Jeff being the perfectionist that he is only surrounds himself with the best musicians and talent. I am surely looking forward to seeing them on September 23rd ,2024 here in Boston's TD Garden, it should be and enjoyable and memorable evening. Thank You both for sharing your experience if you can make it up to Boston Love to see you hear and enjoy this beautiful city I call Home. 🙂

Thank you for sharing this! My son and I were there - we were directly across from you - and it was such an amazing show, a great experience all around. I'd be lying if I said I didn't get a bit emotional at times, especially towards the end of the night. Taking it in with my son, who also loves ELO (so glad he does!), made it as awesome as a concert could be! EDIT: I just saw us at the 13:58 mark when the lights cam way up!! I Love it!!

Back in the day when operators were on SSB and FT8 was not in existence... Too few on SSB these days.

the 2001 Leonids was big on FM radio. Some of the trains were impressive & many produced dopplers on FM (using a standard FM tuner)
