Nicole Van Lipzig: modelling our changing climate
Dr Nicole Van Lipzig is a climate scientist and head of the Geography and Tourism department at KU Leuven university, in Belgium. Her research team uses computer models to study the impacts of climate change in Europe, Antarctica, and Africa, particularly in urban environments.
In this video interview, Dr Van Lipzig speaks about her research and gives her expert view on the climate crisis. She also speaks about the barriers she overcame as a women in science and how she balances her passion for science with her personal life as a mom-of-two.
