Filmed 9/1/24 | All of the Oregon Int'l Airshow performers had a temporary home at PDX for the weekend since McMinnville's airport doesn't have the runway length or apron space for all the planes. No car alarms were set off this time, thankfully. The pitch and roll in this video was really cool to see since both growlers did it in sync and at the same time, instead of one by one like the Redhawks and Thunderbirds do. I'm a combat vet in St Helens down the highway from Portland. This stuff brings me alot of peace. Where would i go to watch this at the airport?
Hello! The long term parking garage at PDX is where I filmed this video from. I don't know the exact times of when these Redhawks do their training flights, they differ sometimes, but sometime in 2025 the Oregon Airshow will happen in Hillsboro in the spring and McMinnville later in the summer/fall. Thank you for your service to this country!

I feel sorry for people's who's house are that near to the airport. The Airbus is extrmely loud and makes alot of noise. It is not comfortable to live there.
