Yelahanka Allalasandra Lake, Bangalore on a rainy morning
The rain lashes down, a relentless rhythm against the surface of Yelahanka Allalasandra Lake. The usually vibrant greens of the surrounding foliage are washed in shades of grey, mirroring the somber mood of the sky.
Mist hangs low over the water, obscuring the distant shores. The air is thick with the scent of wet earth and petrichor, that unique earthy fragrance released when rain falls on dry soil.
A lone fisherman, hunched under a tattered umbrella, patiently waits for a bite, his silhouette a stark contrast against the hazy backdrop. The occasional splash of a fish breaking the surface is the only sound, besides the incessant drumming of the rain.
