Seems very simple, and a clean install. I might go ahead and mount that fuse block, to the panel's face plate. So when you need to change a fuse, its easy access! I also liked the flexible red red. I am incorporating one into my GO-BOX design, that plugs into a USB port.

I love a Repeater Directory. Someone used to make a "Repeater Bible", which was a small pocket size book. I still have some older edition, which a lot of those channels have changed or are off the air. But it fit into your back pocket. And its harder to read (NOW), because of the tiny print!

Very nice set up. Here in Canada, if I am correct because that radio is capable of being programmed through the mic it would not be possible to license in Canada.

I love this project. I hadn't seen this yet but I am planning to use the same radio and I think, the same box. I am thinking of using a similar layout but including some use of the lid for switches, a locking lever for open lid, and a lever to angle the radio upwards as the lid is opened.

why use a lead acid and not a lifepo4 battery ? and without securing the battery down , wont it hit the case and mess up the whole setup?
