Azur Lane Enjoyer
The United Baltic Duchy is a puppet state of the German Empire on the Baltic Sea in Northeastern Europe. While very much under the influence of Germany, the Duchy enjoys independence in the running of its internal affairs. It is ruled and governed by the elitist Baltic German aristocracy, with the German Adolf Friedrich von Mecklenburg serving as the elected Duke. Due to the absence of a modern constitution, the native Estonian and Latvian populations live as second class-citizens, which as led to frequent unrest in rural parts of the Duchy. The currently ruling liberals have tried to modernize the old Duchy into something that can actually survive the 20th century - but times are changing. Russia has adopted a more hostile stance towards the German Oststaaten and the reactionary-traditionalist resistance within the Duchy against the liberal reforms grows stronger with every day.
