What's the purpose of a halo wrap?
The halo wrap is normally recommended for clients with smaller heads. The double halo wrap is used for clients with larger head sizes.

The first rod is rolled under to create a lift at the root. The second rod (that piggybacks the first) is rolled indent to allow for a continuous curl formation. This prevents a drag in the wave pattern.
I always wondered why the roll the first one one way & the piggyback the opposite. I was hoping she’d explain.
Rolling opposite ways allows the curl to continue in a harmonious manner, with no change in the curl pattern. If you roll both rods in the same direction you will likely see a drag (straight section) in the curl pattern instead of a continuous curl pattern. The drag will be where the two rods meet.

What is an Indent? How is it done?
Just like an indent roller. The rod is placed on top of the strand and rolled upward.
Respectfully, the music is very distracting. Good info however. It would be great if the music could be omitted.

Wow I didn't think anyone had a review on this mannequin head. I seen her on Diane Beauty Supply website and was looking for videos on her because I wanted to know how to treat goat hair mannequins.
