Thanks for uploading this. Brilliant song, heard it first time last week when I found the album in a second hand shop for 1€. Bought it since it was released on Creation and that’s usually (9/10) a quality guarantee. Been listening to it several times a day since, totally hypnotized. There’s an even better song on the album called ”Listen to the rain”, that is from another planet. Don’t miss that one, it’s made in 1994 and is 20 years ahead of it’s time. Totally magic. Can’t seem to find it here on UA-cam though...Buy this album if you find it, a real hidden treasure for sure. True ambient.

As I listen to this song more and more times, as it grows in my mind and takes hold of it, the more of a monumental artistic achievement it seems to become. Like with so much of the finest classic Japanese art, it's all about the spaces in between, the pauses and the silences.

you can't believe what i have to suffer here in vietnam. korean spice girls and would-be-britney-spears and sloppy guys in nice suits. thank you, you tube! i have finally met some good musicians here - only took 16 years and -yes- there is good traditional/classical music here but, alas, the young people don't care for it. i was lucky enough to work in prague one time and drink the best beer and listen to lots of good music.

Thank you for this upload. Mr. Dewan is a wonderful lyricist! Not only that, listen to his amazing autoharp skills! I like how well he recorded the autoharp, I think when most folks record an autoharp with other instruments, it gets pushed back too far into the mix. This is stunning!

For some reason her music reminds me of Enya. ...although the Rough Trade album was long before Enya came along.

Still sounds just as beautiful as it did the first time I heard it on Peel. And tonight it really is "too hot to sleep".
