Upgraded the ESC and Motor Cooling Fans. I used Rocket Fans for the Motor and an awesome ProTek fan for the ESC. All 3 fans were easy to install and would recommend getting good air flow to keep your temps down. #protek #rocket #like #rc #rccar #bashing #xrt #subscribe

Decided to go with the Vitavon Front and Rear Upper Bulkheads for the Traxxas XRT. After going through 2 front upper, 2 rear upper, and both front and rear lowers I made the decision to upgrade to aluminum upper bulkheads. Just a fun video of some playing around with the Traxxas XRT and Sledge and Rustler 4x4 VXL. My little ones first run with her new Rustler. Safe to say she enjoyed it a lot! It is Quick! I just put on Proline Badlands Mx57s on the XRT and they are great and hardly baloon at all for non belted tires. Why is the music so loud? Did you not want us to hear you?
I feel that traxas should let folks build these cars from parts . U get to know ur car & it's workings. If ur a good mechanic once u put a certain bolt or screw in a certain place ur experience is better on how ur car runs . People that r into full scale cars have built them .

Bro. Standard oil 10K/20Mil/30K. As your Choice u can use rear 30k Front 50k Center 20mil
Many other components around the diff will die way before ,the oil is really much irrelevant
My front and rear diffs was almost dry on my new xrt
Hope you checked the direction of the air flow of that protek fan. They run backwards on traxxas stuff. You have to switch the leads around. I called Amain thinking something was wrong with mine. They told me what I needed to do.
What was said?. I just spoke with Drew @ A main Hobby 6/26/24 before purchase regarding your comment. He said this is plug and play. Fan rotation is correct. Confused..

I know notorious,outcast exb 6s are different in profile compared to talion. But considering overall durability and electronic component and ability to do backflips ...which one is best among three? Pls let me know
Awesome! I will definitely getting this front and rear, plus aluminium bulkhead cover, diff case and front rear Tie Bar pin mount. make it diff strong to stop skipping the gear on diff.

What size are rocket fans, and why two different brands
They are 35x35mm
Why did u use two different brands of fans?
I wanted red on the motor fans but the esc you can't really see color. The esc fan also had a shorter plug which was great for plugging in, the motor fans have longer plugs.
What was the part numbers for the upgraded fans
The protek fan part number is PTK-2113. The rocket fans part numbers are 144061441776, I found the rocket fans on eBay.

Great video, thanks so much for sharing, I had to swap out my motor yesterday, tip i learned by accident removing the gear cover and the 4 bolts that hold the motor might have gotten you to the rear fan bolts quicker.

Add a protek 35mm aluminum fan to the heatsink. Most any 5000-6200mah soft pack will fit under the lid. Proline Truggy 3.8 MT for replacement tires & stay on the stock pinion unless you wanna drop in a Hobbywing MAX6 1650KV combo for a very solid upgrade
I did add the fan, I hadn't had any heat concerns but figured I'd do it and be safe. Haven't changed tires yet but was thinking about the dboot backflps or the 3.8 mt like you mentioned. I'll burn these ones up first though. I do some good bashing with it and it really Flys but the katars lack a good air control.

Skil rechargeable 4v electric screwdriver, I got on Amazon and have been very happy with it
Please stop music if you speak. Don't you use Loctite to put screws in Vitavon aluminium? can be a flaw.

Nice run with XRT. Did you attempt any backflips with those tires and gear ratio? Does it affect rotation with that setup? I got the same tires and a 17t pinion to make it easier on the truck with those tires.
I tried a little, but even with bigger tires and gearing, it is still a flat flying rc. I have since become more confident and pulled off a couple of backflips. The front flip is definitely easier to tap the brakes right after launch and can do those pretty effortlessly.
