I’m telling about what I like and don’t like about my life in Chiangmai! I’m sure I haven’t learnt everything yet and probably will take me many years to say that I understand Thai mentality. Hope it will be quicker, Thai and Kazakh culture are the same in a lot of things.
The worst purchase you’ll ever make??

I love your spontaneous and enthusiastic travelling style!!!
@@drmarkbahnisch2978 thank you for watching ☺️
Your opinions are rather subjective. Old "white men" in asia are disgusting? Try making conversation w said white men. Your opinion may change. Don't judge a book by its cover.
so u are an asian woman with a white guy and are talking about sex tourism lol... pot calling the kettle black
Good morning. I am looking for the link to the last airbnb you stayed at in the video. I'd love to look them up as I am planning to move to Bangkok in the next few months. Thanks!
@@Beautifulv2000 hello! This is the link www.airbnb.com/slink/VA4a7mTQ He also has some more apartments to come in the same building, you should ask him. But this location is far from all the Bangkok attractions. More quiet and not so touristy area.
New vlog! Yay!

Could you please link the air-b&B in Bangkok for me? Tnanks for your videos!
Sure here it is www.airbnb.com/slink/VA4a7mTQ But I wouldn’t recommend it if you are coming to Bangkok for the first time. It’s far from all the attractions and fun. More local and long term rentals vibe.
I need job and bed space or partition in Astana please help me
you look 50 plus, so be flattered that guys look at you!

I always like to go to Kazakhstan ! Love you vlog, it's so good to see tourists go to other part of Thailand apart from the touristy areas.
Thank you so much!!! ☺️
Nice video, contact us if you ever visit Chanthaburi province ✌️ Glad it worked out for you. I’m impressed you negotiated your hotel price too. When we get on the road will try the same. I think it’s much more fun exploring without reservations 11:04

@@Welltravelled-ib4umthank you so much! ☺️
Strange take on the white guys (no I am not a white guy or an old guy).... You're not a 18-20 year old that a man in his 50s or 60s would be weird talking to... They would have thought you are the same age as you look it. Anyway, good thumbnail - it worked!
Are you 57 years old ?
Your parents are definitely siblings
I'm 60 and I am surprised that you would be surprised that a 60 year old man might still want to flirt. Kind of offensive!
Great vibes.
Thanks for watching! 😊
Interesting to get an attractive, intelligent older woman's experience of Chiang Mai. As a repeat visitor to the area I agree with many of your observations. Traffic is a nightmare and definitely not great city for walking around especially crossing the streets, it needs more overpass walkways because cars don't stop at the crosswalks.
Very narrow minded narrative, however l love CM good luck.
Just found your channel, you are from Sri Lanka? That country is also on my list to visit, from what I"ve seen it inexpensive, safe, has gorgeous beaches, and is not crowded with tons of tourists.
@@Deadfoot-Dan no, I’m not from Sri Lanka) I’m from Kazakhstan. You definitely should visit, it’s still pretty wild there. I’d say it’s Thailand in the 80-90)))
Lady, your quite a racist.
Very important video - what I've been waiting for, for the last 10 years - a video about a woman and what she is buying🙄🙄
You look like you could be in your early 50s so why would a 60 year old guy not flirt with you???
That was my thoughts exactly!
Crude
There is nothing wrong with sex tourism. Men have needs and women have need for men's wallets. Show some empathy for the starving men. Woman can just go outside and find a sex for free.
someone aint gettin no dick anymore
Have you found any Sri Lankan food in Thailand? in 30 years I have never found any!!
Not that I was looking for it) but I was sure there’s… So many Sri Lanka people move to live in Thailand. Sad to hear that…
Lady, your attitude isnt great. You think a 60 yr old guy looking at you is "disgusting", but he could get a 22 yr old easily, so calm yourself. You're getting a bit older so maybe be grateful. Also, those staring white guys are likely European. Its common that people from various parts of Europe "stare" a lot more than you might be used to. (I lived in Europe for years). Has nothing to do with them thinking you're "working". 😅
“Its common that people from various parts of Europe ‘stare’ a lot … has nothing to do with them thinking you're ‘working’.” I’ve been living in Asia for 34 years now, nearly 2 in Thailand, and every expat I know could tell you countless stories about their Asian wives or girlfriends being hit on by white sex tourists. You’re delusional if you think that isn’t so. And if you think that a 60-year-old guy isn’t disgusting because he could get a 22-year-old, you’re the one with an attitude problem.
You’re a loser bro the amount of hate and venom poured into this message cah 60 year old guys stare at her for ages 😂😂 you’re the definition of a cuck mate thinking that’s alright wouldn’t even mind you’re probably a little runt that no one wastes their time looking at
"My life: where I go, what I buy." Man, that says a lot about you.
05:12 - How do you call it? Переход? Languages mix in the head lol. Nice vlog! Subscribed :)
@@leonrozenberg thank you ❤️
Not all white guys are angry, and looking to hook up with locals. Some of us are pretty chilled and looking for places to just go, relax enjoy the food and perhaps have random conversations with different cultures.
@@almightystu so happy to read this! I’m sure the more I live here, the more I’ll learn and my mindset will be changing everyday)
Not all, not everyone of course but there is still a significant proportion of Western male tourists in Thailand who are there expressly for paid sex. This proportion is significantly higher than those in Singapore or Malaysia, for comparison to another SEA country. These people aren't the most refined or respectul, as you'd expect.
@@jascforfun7576 I agree to a point, but would you also say some Thais have something to do with this too? If you walk past bars in certain areas in any touristy town or city, even during the day, you'll have Thai women grabbing at males genitals as a way to try and stop them from walking past, or just latch on to the guy until they give in, honestly makes me cringe. Don't really think their actions is either refined or respectful and doesn't happen in places like beer street in Hanoi, and I'm sure not in Singapore or Malaysia (although I haven't been there). I guess my point is, it takes two to tango. But there is a horrible stigma attached to Thailand, which is such a shame
Sidewalks are a bit sketchy
They might find you attractive
seriously what a dreadful video. You consider everyone hateful like you. I think you wont enjoy it there, so just leave. Consider a different career, You tube aint it. you complain about everything, and make a video about your bitching. WHY?
what a whiner. it wasn't 19 degrees in CM. you haven't paid he dues necessary to appreciate CM. Then you generalize that all Thais are not happy because 1 lady took issue with you groping the avocado. What is your point? Then you talk about how many older white guys want to pick you up. I really doubt it. I think that is your fantasy. You then say all the olYou havd white men in CM are mean and angry. You are so 100% wrong. What a terrible judgmental person you are. After a few days of living here you now think you are an expert.
Treat yourself with a scale and a handgrinder and you will improve the taste. Try without milk as it covers fruity aromas that the aeropress is excellently producing.
thank you for the advice! ❤️ I was thinking if I should get a hand grinder or one that grinds itself.
I started with an expensive electric grinder (Niche) only to realize that a cheaper hand grinder achieves better results (Commandante) especially with filter. Espresso was a slightly different story as the adjustment of the grinds was not fine enough. I now also have a Kingrinder which is even better with adjustment, results are equally good and it is less that half the price of the Commandante. USD 100 for the top model. So that would be my recommendation.
most boring city in thailand
The look of that face tells me what kind of fun you're looking for. No wonder you think it's boring.

So much racial dialog in the first 2 and a half minutes. Why? Very weird.
Thank you for your comment ❤️ For me it’s not weird) I’m from Kazakhstan, I was born in the USSR and raised in an independent Kazakhstan. We have over 100 nations living together in peace. I moved out of Kazakhstan when I was 33, about 4,5 years ago. I live now kind of between the two worlds the western and Asian. But I’m Asian myself)) it’s just different Asians. For me everything is interesting. Chiangmai is a very touristic city and there are a lot of Asians, mainly Chinese. We just discussing here the fact that the time the video was taken there were more Chinese than white. And only a person from the western country would notice and think it’s weird that’s what I also learnt for the last few years. Some Europeans or once colonized people think it’s all about them. It’s not) sometimes it’s just one girl who is very curious about what’s going on around her, who are the people that live next to her and what are the other cultures that surround her. As a person who grew up in a multicultural society, of a once colonized nation, I think everything that’s going on with race in Europe is stupid. It became kind of a weapon and a trend. Don’t complicate it:)
@@Expat_diariesI’m brown and this is how normal people talk between each other. We joke about stuff. It’s not that deep and there’s no hidden racism. Kudos on not trying to be politically correct and speaking normally
