Im in tn how can i get a few poles? And baits, how huw much are they

This method is so much fun. Ever since I started learning how to do it I pretty much give up rod and reel fishing when the conditions are right for jigger pole'ing. I'll take me a rod or two to fish with in the hotter sunnier parts of the day, but if it's overcast I might not put the jigger pole down at all. I haven't used a pikeie topwater though, they're hard to find here. I just use the old Rapala broke-back floating minnow in the gold and black color, I never have problems catching fish with it.

Could you do a video of how to tie up the pole with the lure. I’ve asked people to show me but they act like it’s a secret. I remember my uncle doing this but I was a young boy, I’d like to learn the technique so I can teach my two twin boys how to do it.

My Grandaddy used to tell me about jigger pole fishing on the flint river years ago. I’d tell him about the shoal bass my friends and I were catching, and he’d tell me that we needed to learn about jigger pole fishing.
