I am aware. The places I chose to fever gave better points overall. However I did mistime one of them by ~0.1 seconds and lost an extra key I could've had.

I've spent years on kb+m so I'm not really sure how it would feel for most people, however what I can say is that my fingers were moving so much faster than they usually do that they started feeling extremely light, sort of how people feel with butterflies in their stomach but in the fingers.

@@think8736 maybe you missed a key somewhere, could also just be the game counting steps past 9 in the end screen but not for points not sure tbh

@@think8736 there's still a lot more room for improvement anyways assuming you got the same amount of keys as me since there's one I missed entirely by timing my second fever too late, if you manage to hit that key in the first fraction of a second or so it's available then fever it'll give you an extra key to use afterwards, let alone a lot of steps I could've taken that I didn't. the main reason I stopped doing this was for the sake of my mental health as I get frustrated easily, so if you're more committed than I you could reach 10300s maybe even 10400, not sure how high it goes but I'm fairly certain those are within reach

I'd assume they made that decision because some of the parts let you get insane steps which would lead to hilarious point inflation but I wouldn't know. I mainly just take more than 9 steps to maintain my flow.

If the game lags, it will drop inputs like crazy. When it lags, you are lucky to get our three or four movement inputs per second no matter how hard you mash. For some reason, the developers chose to discontinue the ingenious feature of adaptive detail dropping, meaning it would drop details if your system started to chug. Yakuza 0 is the laggiest "Kiwami" engine (an unofficial nickname, featured in Y5, Y0 and YK1) game hands down and it lacks a proper content caching features, leading to pointless loading of same contents and over again no matter how much RAM you have. Oh and different game segments in Like a Dragon games are handled by different developers, so the optimization quality and performance varies a lot between them.

@@HerecomestheCalavera PC. The PC version has all kinds of issues. Some people cannot even launch the game because it instantly crashes. You can have have a desktop PC with a powerful GPU and it will can still stutter like no tomorrow if it feels like it. This is probably because of some for-console optimization that tries to pull the max CPU usage out of the console-specific setup. It happens randomly too. Yakuza 0 was originally made for the Japanese PS3 and PS3 required some really weird programming to get the multicore processor to give any juice. It would not surprise to hear that that code is still in the PC port. The PC port had a lot of issues on launch. Stuff like missing effects who knows what. After extensive patching, it is not perfect. The game tries to mask the lagging in a way that means the game state portrayed in the graphics is behind the actual game state, meaning you get shown stuff like button prompts half a second late. This is not unique to Yakuza 0. It is about how these games are cobbled together from parts made by different sub-teams. The one doing the dance and karaoke sequences tends to be particularly callous about optimization. Add in the general lack of PC-specific optimization and you will get a very F'd up experience.

@@notyouravstalin8802nope, his(Ogita’s) score is super random af…one moment it is as low as 6k the next it is like 9k which is why I was stuck on his dance battle for 5 days and not just that, his song is also super hard af. Why is it that that same dumb parody song has to be used over and over again? First the Media King then bloody Ogita. I am sick of doing that one song.
