What do you get when you buy a Quarter Cow?
We recently purchased 1/4 of a cow from Pape Family Pastures here in northeast Wisconsin. We didn't know exactly what volume to expect before we received it so I am hoping this will help anyone in that situation. We were able to choose how we wanted the different portions cut, and what we wanted ground, so it may look a little different for everyone.

Tour of my rabbit tractors for breeding and growing
Переглядів 14 тис.5 років тому
This is a short summary of how I'm keeping my rabbits this summer. I previously had them in a shed for the winter and for the warmer months, this is a much better setup. I hope it is helpful!
The holes of the bottom wire is too small to eat grass , you have t change it
It kills me to read all these messages! You do you!
Great job on the tractors !! Thanks for sharing 🤩
Dont you think they need a hiding area inside the cages? Cats and other vermin can terrorize them from the side of the cage
Do all your neighbors keep livestock in there front yards? Not criticizing just asking.
Loads of people do it where I live.
They are rodents not live stock .. either way your comment is really not advantageous.. hmmmmmmmmmmmm
Great construction but I'd considered wooden slats for the bottom for easier access to the grass.
What do you do when it snows ?
Lol they are rabbits!
U don't put wired flooring because it hurts their poor feet and it can damage their walking
Wire flooring is so that predators who could tip over the cage cannot harm the rabbits. The only solid floor cages I've seen were terribly soaked with urine and poop piled up, and the poor rabbits feet were burned from the urine acidity. If you could show me some alternatives, I'd love to see them. Thanks!
Wire on bottom is essential if the are in open area with a predator risk plus stops them digging out plus ruining your lawn. Bottom mesh can be much bigger though. 4 or 5 inch gauge would work and allow them to graze. Only prob is moving the run as their feet can get trapped
Another ignorant person posting foolish comments. Lovely.
It doesn't look like they can access the fresh grass through the tight weave?
Very nice job on your rabbit Trac. what breed are your rabbits? New sub
