If he insists on playing Tavernier (which hope he doesn’t), agree think a 3-5-2 formation might be best, having Sterling playing in the 3 to protect Tavernier at wing back, 5 in midfield to stop us being over run, and playing Bajrami just off Dessers in a 2 up front…

Tavernier causes so many problems for this team, not only can he not defend (god help him against Saha), can’t pass the ball 10 yards and does nothing going forward now, but he stints Sterling at RB, stops Nana playing there, prevents Cerny being effective ahead of him and guys like Barron and Souttar are constantly covering for him… Tav has to be replaced, Clement must make the really big decisions better, especially this one…

Cerny and the right side is an issue for me, he doesn't look like a man that cares about being here and very much looks like a loan just waiting to go back. A real lack of effort from him, hopefully cortes can get fit and we can put Mccausland on the right unless cerny starts giving some effort, also puts us under pressure with his lack of defensive duties. We need a right winger bought in January or the summer at the latest, it's been neglected for years now, since Candias pretty much.
