Wow the chorus for this song is actually terrible. So glad John brought in a chorus for it.

Album version is better by far. This version, while good, just sounds a bit like they tried to do too much and it becomes a bit all over the place.

What does flea say at the beginning?

My vote’s for the SA album version which I like a lot more. It’s not just the chorus that’s different, there are also changes to the bridge and ending. The album song makes better sense to me; it flows nicely and seems more coherent and complete. I like this one as well though.

yea, the band in a video about stadium arcadium talks about this song, they played it to the public before of recording it, in the 2006 at the stadium arcadium album.

In this year it wasn't even recorded, so it probably passed to a production process and now it is what it is!

I always loved the chorus in this version better. When I first heard it back then I thought it would be a huge hit. It was a single outside the U.S. but never a huge hit.
