"Our wonderful contemporary science has not yet answered the questions, What becomes of dreams during the day? and, If dreams are continuous even during man’s ordinary waking state, what influence do the unknown and ordinarily invisible thoughts, sensations, involuntary spasmodic movements and moods of these continuous dreams exert on the ordinary waking state of the human biological machine? I could suggest other questions; for instance, What is the difference between the memory of actual objective events and continuous dreams for the ordinary human biological machine if it has no unity? And another: Exactly how can artificially produced abrasive outer events produce a definite and exact awakening of the machine which in turn produces an exact change in Being?" E. J. I got a beauitful dog in hope to get a beautiful life and bring people together. When the people I thought or hoped was my family couldn't care less I finally felt so alone and gave back the dog cuz I thought I couldn't do it alone. I regret giving the dog back instead of fighting for our life together, she was my best friend but I was desperate for approval/community from people who were only jealous of my blessings. If I knew better I would've been confident enough to look for support/community elsewhere that could help me with my dreamlife.

Are you going to Heaven when you die? If you believe that Jesus Christ was born, suffered and died on the Cross, and that God Almighty raised Him back up to Life three days later - and if you Trust that His Sacrifice alone paid for all your past, present and future Sins - then you will go to Heaven when you die! This is the Good News of The Gospel!

For YEARS I have walked around with unforgiveness in my heart towards my ex husband for being a lying, abusive cheater & breaking up our family. In my heart I wanted to forgive him & I tried. I decided to forgive him because it was a heavy weight I no longer wanted to carry around with me. I know I have done things along the way that someone has had to forgive me for. It doesn't feel good to carry aught around in your heart. I'm happy. I feel better...🥰

Defenses are also penetrative, what to do with forgiving those where your defenses are completely down or that they never repent for the wrong they did? Not seeing ones self as a victim frees you from forgiveness from the perspective of being a victim but instead understanding that we too can do the same thing and forgiving from a deeper position.

Actually you can. A few weeks ago I spoke in front of like 20+ strangers, something I haven't done in years, and as I as talking I was out of words and panicked for a second but instead of focusing on myself I decided to wait and let go. And so some words still came out to finish the sentence. It's weird because part of me was experiencing it as a jumble of unconnected ideas, but another part of me was talking about what I always talk and think about. But the secret was the prior moments that lead up to it. Alan Watts used to say that anxiety is just muscle tension, and he is right. But from my experience, when I'm stressed, I stop breathing as intensely, and take smaller spis of air more sporadically. So, before I had to speak I did breathing exercises to bring myself to earth and pace my heart rate to stop being locked in my mind. Mind you, I had not sleep for 20+ hours before that moment and the previous nights I slept like 4 or 5 hours. So, if sleep deprivation could have increased my anxiety it would have. Normally it would have. Normally I'm insane when I don't sleep more than 7 hours. But I was at peace with myself and was in control of my autonomic nervous system because I know for a fact that the speed and focus of thoughts are an indicator that I'm not giving attention to something about my body that is operating incorrectly or being stressed. It took me awhile to figure this out over the years. Things like holding my urine, alcohol, smoking, not sleeping, overworking, excessive physical strain, bad eating habits, diahrea, stress from bad social interactions, they all stack on making me lose a sense of body awareness. My consciousness starts to tune these things out and I get progressively more locked in inside my mind. Every outside stimuli becomes dimmed out of conscious awareness and all that's left are my thoughts that become acute, fast paced and paranoid. But once you know what they mean you become better at sorting out the triggers earlier in the game. And never let it build as much anymore. That's what people are missing. They let it build and when it's insane it's next to impossible to focus your attention on your body instead of what your mental chatter is focused on. So yeah you can make yourself less self-conscious when you stop looking at it as a mental/psychological problem and start diagnosing your physical body and fixing each symptom or disabling each root cause.

I violated a friend's privacy and when she was angry I doubled down and called her crazy. I had never done anything that wrong before, so I didn't understand conflict well. What I have learned is to find out what someone's "no ways" are, by asking questions about them and not just keep it all safe, and to really pay attention to them. I still so regret it 18 years later

God didn't send His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, into the world to condemn the world. God sent Him into the world that through Him, the world might be saved. There is forgiveness through the shed blood of Jesus at the cross on our behalf for all who call on His name. Don't let the devil trick you into believing otherwise. Much love to you all.

Forgiveness can thoroughly come only because God said it was possible and His greatest desire for us, and then to be one with Him. We either believe it because of Him, or we don't. Anything else is trying to atone via shame or our own way to pay for it. Forgiveness just doesn't work that way. Peterson's details are right on, but not without first being founded on the truth of real forgiveness from God.
