This Lovely F430 was the Entry-level Ferrari back in 2005. The F430 replaced its predecessor the 360M (Modena and Modena Spider). This meant the car went from a 3.6 in the 360 Modena to the 4.3 In the F430. Giving it a bump of 83 Bhp compared to its predecessor. The F430 was offered in both a 6spd Gated Manual or like this; a 6spd Graziano F1 Sequential gearbox.

The California was the first Ferrari to introduce Apple CarPlay into their later California T, and also the first Ferrari to be equipped with HELE (Start/Stop) as a factory option. Not that you’d want start stop in a Ferrari. Forgot to mention this car has the optional MagnaRide which cost over £3,200. And is the magnetic suspension Ferrari use. Just took delivery of a 74 plate N line, I had the previous Kona EV in premium and I love the face lift. I dont feel like it has any more range even with the bigger battery as I think this model is a little heavier. Will have to see what range I get after a few charges. In summer i was getting 300 - 310 mile range with 3.6 m/kw and 275 -280 in winter. I have done 90 miles so far in the new car and have reached 3.5m/kw so will be interesting to see the range after the next charge. BTW I recently changed to Scottish Powers EV tariff and it costs 7.9p kw between 00.00 and 06.00 so under 4 quid for a charge from about 20% to 100%, it was costing about 15 quid. My main complaint is having to turn off the speeding warning every start up. The old model only warned you if you where speeding within range of a camera. It easy enough to turn off but a little too nanny state for me.
Yep, I’ve noticed the New shapes have the same if not less Range. Despite having 1 whole kWh more capacity. So you’d thing it has more range logically.
Sadly the slush box is a real passion killer for this old girl.
Yep well, sadly Ferrari don’t do Manuals anymore, and I think this was one of the first Ferraris offered with no Manual option. Despite this, the F1 is still quite a decent Gearbox Obviously it’s a different aspect of driving with the F1 as you need to let of the accelerator to allow the computer to shift as it is a robot manual from what I know. Maybe I am wrong
Brilliant review mate
Thank you, appreciate it.
My next car ❤
Nice, I’d say Ioniq 6 looks nicer. But Ioniq 5 is definitely a good car
Amazing!
Yeeees bro
You are doing good but, you are not reaching enough audience. I did send a few tips about your video ranking.
G
What miles are you getting on a full battery
Being totally honest, between: 260-320 miles. Advertised range is 282 from Hyundai.
The range in these is a lot better than other cars I’ve reviewed such as VW, Audi and Mini. The German cars seem to lie about the range quite a bit
All of those stuff come standsrd on all specs exception of heated seats and parking sensors and half digital dash
Ok, thanks for letting me know. I haven’t had an Insignia for the last 10 years so can’t remember all the trims.
I used to have this system in my e53 amg that I had and I thought it was good but I recently upgraded to the new s63 e performance and that has the high end 4d burmester and I must say it’s so much better. I had a Range Rover sport p400 too when I had my e53 with the meridian surround which I see you have reviewed but I recently got a new Range Rover p615 with the meridian signature which is a huge step up from the surround sound system that meridian offers.
Yep. The Signature is really good. Think it now has 1700w still, but now with 39 speakers. Haven’t gotten to finding one yet to review. The 4D Burmester is really nice also. I reviewed the 3D one a few years ago.
@@Stealthy9930 yes the 4d was good I heard it in a test drive in an s450l and I thought wow this is good so thought I’d opt for it in my own car and the meridian signature is pretty good as you say it’s now 39 speakers and I couldn’t complain about anything apart from some wing mirror vibration haha
How fast it can charge please?
These cars have about 280-300 miles range, so on fast charger it would take 11-12 hours as a fast charger charges at 20-30mph. And 3 Pin Small charger, will take 4x the length of time. 6mph
Stunning car
Yep
How’s the battery life holding up? I’m thinking about buying one of these models but not sure if I’ll be up for a battery replacement soon after the purchase?
These Leafs are extremely cheap, back in the day they used to have 80-100 miles range, this was 2011 I think. Anything over 40k miles is probably a waste of time, you will barely have any range to get anywhere hence the cheap prices. Battery warranty is 8yr/100k on these, if it’s out then don’t bother will cost 4x the cost of the car to replace
Good job, learnt more from your review than many others on here. Thanks
Cheers
How would you rate the resolution of the surround cameras and how does the gear switch on the wheel feel? I think the Megane e-tech has something similar.. might take a bit of getting used to.
Camera Resolution is quite nice I’d compare it to maybe Audi Camera. Think BMW does the best surround camera, gearstick is quite nice has a solid feel to it
@@Stealthy9930 Thanks for the feedback..appreciated.
Love the spec not ev powertrain
Thanks, personally not a fan of EV. I’ve got to have a Petrol with a Manual gearstick .
It’s beautiful and have a futuristic look
Nice 😊
Does the spoiler block rear view?
Not particularly, not like the rear view is easy to see out of anyway. Think a Reversing camera is useful on this car
lovely...does it come with a sunroof? i thought the lux pack did
Yes. Ultimates come standard with Sunroof, however if you have N-Line S trim, you will need the lux pack in order to have sunroof
Looks like you can get a spare wheel in there which is great! Is there an option on the N Line S to have 17 inch wheels to max out the range? I have been trying to do this on the Hyundai UK config page but when i click on tyres nothing happens and 19 inch tyres seem to be the only option? I changed browser but still no option to change tyre size.
Sadly not. Only the Ultimates are able to come with options of the 17” alloys (The Advances wheels) or the 19” Ultimate alloys exclusive to Ultimate.
Personally if you’re looking for one, I’d get an Ultimate (Lux pack + Leather) as this is the best value and holds more value. N Line S is missing the sunroof which is a must for me😂
@@Stealthy9930 Thank you..i will try and configure the Ultimate trim shortly. Would you know what happens after the Bluelink Connected Car Services: 3 Years expires? Would i be still able to use the app..is it just live services i miss out on?
@@FéargalO yh you will lose function to your app on your phone to control the car and the online services
@@Stealthy9930 Thank you about the app info..had no idea it was that severe loss after 3 years. I just configured Ultimate trim with 17 inch wheels and i think the images look amazing.
Not Galactic guys, Cyber Grey* 😂
That’s my previous car which I sold in Oct 2023, did me well took it all over UK and I looked after it well but decided to get something bigger!
Oh really? Oh wow. Yh still got this one in stock. We took it off a Law Magistrate who bought our lovely Ioniq 6
I’m guessing your the culprit behind the Chameleon tint and the Alpina Digi dash Flash? 😂
@@Stealthy9930 yeppp I did them!
@@MonsurRa alright nice. Lmk what you think of the vid 👍
In the book pack is a charge card for Smart approved high speed chargers
Alright nice!
How would you compare this to a kona advance comfort pack. I’ve ordered the kona but could’ve had one of these for a few quid cheaper. But just thought it was a little weird. But would be nice to have the extra features.
Is it 115kW (Small) or 160kW (Big battery) model? Also yh the BYD has a bit better spec, basically an Advance (Comfort) is an equivalent of a Premium kona old shape.
In terms of spec, BYD has leather and not cloth but this is fake leather. Kona has Rear camera and BYD has Surround camera, BYD has sunroof also. Both has Heated seats/wheel however Kona has rear seats heated. Both have heat pump. I’d say BYD is better equipped
Personally I would have bought a BYD at the end of the day they are both Asian, so paying for a premium on A Hyundai your not getting any better of a brand by too much.
@@Stealthy9930 appreciate the reply it’s the design spec with bigger battery so has everything really. I feel the kona is possibly the better overall car spec for spec but maybe not sure it’s worth the extra monthly’s when comparing advance vs design. Think it’s the spec swaying me really just wish the byd was abit toned down on the interior.
@@breeza0121 yh I think the interior of the BYD Is silly, you get White blue red and black dashboard with guitar string door cards 🤣looks like someone’s robbed a bank and the dye packs detonated in the car 🤣🤣
Great reviews of these new konas! I am really stuck between the Ultimate and the N-lineS!
Nice!. Got an N Line in stock currently, and some old shape Konas. Just sold an N Line S Last week and have been selling Konas like this. Had 3 White Ultimates just like this
Personally I would get an Ultimate if you need a Sunroof, ideally Leather option and Lux pack is nice. It will cost you a premium
Is the heat pump worth it? Just checked my ultimate and it doesn't have one!
Yes it is definitely worth it, it essentially warms up the battery I think or the aircon so you keep your range. But I will tell you now, out of selling 100s konas this is the only one which has had one. It is EXTREMELY rare. Rarer than Grey leather option.
Decent review, we have had ours since march this year in the optional ultimate red metallic. Only a couple of things dont say £43'000 car. The ambient lighting only lights up the 2 front door pockets and the oddment tray infront of the passanger and the plastics are not padded on the top of the doors. We have averaged 4.5 miles per kilowatt hour in 1900 miles so far. I have the star button on the steering wheel set as a short cut to the driver assists ,so i can turn off speed limit and forward attention monitor. The charging cables fit in the front boot easily.
Did I say it was £43k? If I didn’t then yes haha it’s £43k. (£42,315 + £650 Pearl paint) Just sold this one yesterday actually. And yes did notice the that door cards actually have any leather padding rather on the old shape you’ve got a full leather/vinyl panel but on the new shape it’s a bit plastic leather very thin layer.
The star thing was quite useful yh. Was trying to figure out how to program it to the safety things as you and I both know legally the speed limit and Lane keeping/FCA systems have to come back on starting the car.
Did you get a granny 3 pin cable too with the Kona?
@@FéargalO yes we did.
@@brianiswrong Thank you...i did read V2L cable supplied but did not see about the 3 pin so thanks for the confirmation.
What sale?
Sold now mate.
@@Stealthy9930 How was the car when you owned it? I'm looking at my first Civic, do you recommend it?
@@alberto.coutinho yep. Quite nice looking, although my favourite is the Type R, still nice cars definitely recommend
Hey, is this car on sale? .. great review btw
Funny you say that, we just put it on yesterday. We have already taken a deposit on it. I will let you know if they don’t buy the car but for now it’s is most likely sold already. Not even been 24 hours haha. We specialise in a Lot of Old and New shape Konas if your interested? Identical car in terms of spec and battery, but design diffferent. www.quickars.co.uk
Appreciate that
Yh sorry mate this Niro is sold. Customer took it the next day. Best of luck
@@Stealthy9930 No problem, thanks for the update
Decent review this - well presented. Thanks
Cheers
Yes very good, he packed in loads of great info in a short time. Appreciated.
Brilliant review. I am waiting for delivery of mine, and i have the same colour and spec but went with LUX pack too..is the front LED light bar full or does it split?
Full light bar, as its the DRL I think. DRL is static light and the bottom Main headlight will block out fragments of the LED elements
Yh Lux pack is a must 😊
@Stealthy9930 quality! How's the drive? Can't wait to get mine but delivery date of December can't come soon enough!!
@@lewisgraham7646 very rapid these Konas haha if you put it in Sport mode you can tons of wheel spin, FWD
@Stealthy9930 brilliant mate! Hope it comes early as I believe the turn around time is fairly quick so 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Are these cars for sale?
Which one are you interested in? This car is sold, and any videos which are old are most likely sold.
We do have 2 F-Types in stock
Looks like the colour of a yellow marker (Stabilo Boss), very bright.
Yh 😂😂😂 that’s EXACTLY what I think it looks like. The Stabilo Boss highlighter the florescent one
They could have done less with the rear, it seems that the fog lamps are overly designed.
Yh I think the back looks a bit strange… I mean I like the light bar but the fog lights ruin the design and the car looks a bit flat. Kinda like an BMW X4.
Does the homura not come with tinted rear windows as standard?
Nope, unfortunately the CX-60 doesn’t come with Privacy glass. Even on the Flagship ‘Takumi’ trim.
You’d think a car at this price point would come with it standard, but you can’t even get it. Would be nice in the Homura as everything is blacked out
you'd have to pay me to ride around in that yellow thing my mush
Looks like a Yellow highlighter 😂😂😂
Hash tag means number 1 !! Pal ( #1 = No 1 )
Oh sorry thought it meant 5,670,800.
auto pessima, sopratutto nella stabilità
Nice
@@Stealthy9930 Yes, it's just nice on the outside but internally the central tunnel ruins the liveability
@@marioscannapieco yh I get where you coming from
@@Stealthy9930 I'm Italian, why this question? I don't think the central tunnel of the car offers little hospitality just to us 🤣🤣
@@marioscannapieco no, I’m saying I’m on the same page, I understand and agree with what your saying. It’s an expression
Also this Q4 isn’t Quattro, it is RWD*
Adaptive Cruise is now standard on the S-Line models for MY2024. Also single motor is rear wheel drive, not front.
Yep, this car is a 2023 Model, also yh the Q4 Is RWD, most these Electric cars I review are FWD so got confused with a Kona.
The reason being they stopped the 40 Engine Trim after 2023, so this car is late registered. Also can’t have Panroofs on these which is annoying. Obviously as I said in the video Adaptive cruise is an option on this 2023 model 24 Plate Q4.
Can I ask when i said about the drivetrain? Was it when i said Quattro, was looking. I’d appreciate it you could tell me, another guy said the car is RWD. I didn’t mean to say it was Quattro haha 😂
@@Stealthy9930 You mention "most likely front wheel drive" at 6:26
@@garybierton4003yep found it,
No for me looks like a Noddy car 😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂
This car is sooooo gorgeous
Yep
@@Stealthy9930hows reliablilty on it? Considering getting one
@@slothzzy. Overall, these are very reliable, a few things; check if exhaust valves are working, on the AWDs diff fluid needs changing regularly, and also try find a car with the Bonnet vents down the middle. Non-S models I’ve seen seem to have the Top bonnet vents, and rainwater seeps into the engine that way and corrodes the Fuel injectors.
@@slothzzy. As a whole, the 3.0 V6 is a lot more reliable and less heavy maintenance as the 5.0 V8. Personally thing the V6s actually sound better; having heard an XJR
So its a mini
Not sure I’d say that, this is Merc/Geely, Mini is BMW. does look a little bit like a mini
One thing to note I believe OnStar doesn't work on vauxhall cars due to the fact the brand was bought off GM motors
Yh, Vauxhalls stellantis now, GM was much better when they owned it, but they also had their quality flaws.
This is not pro plus model, this is premium
No. This is Pro + mate, Premium comes with Beats sound system, Head-Up Display. And some other things I can’t remember
Yh so the Premium trim adds to the Pro+ by giving you: Full Leather, Adaptive Cruise, HUD, Beats sound system, LED Matrix+ headlights, And different alloys.
Good review mate, What's your opinion on range?
We’ve sold a lot of Konas and a few Ioniqs. Range is brilliant. This Ioniq is currently showing around 300-320 on a full charge last time I checked. I can say the Hyundais are the best electric car for Honest range
