For some reason I had missed that video, I really liked it! I had watched all the DC examples but none of the Marvel ones (not a hater, just for some reason my comics reading is 90% DC and 10% Marvel (like when Garth Ennis is writing a Punisher/Nick Fury mini-series like they are doing now.. *"Get Fury"* is 3 issues in at the moment) The Teen Titans one with Slade is pretty scary, they also did an episode like that in *Titans* season 2 (not a big spoiler that Deathstroke is the big bad of that season) when he manipulates Dick Grayson and Jason Todd like that to weaken them Thinking about it, *Arrow* season 2 spoilers I guess ('tis pretty old now, aye), but in that season he also really takes his time to methodically dismantle Green Arrow and his entourage (Brother Blood takes care of Arsenal, Speedy is saved by Malcolm "The Dark Archer" Merlyn but is taken out of the operation, and Diggle got pwned by Ravager, who later got unalived by Nyssa al Ghul.

Perhaps doing a sins on comics themselves? Yes, you call out logic problems but as a comic reader you know there are tons of sins in comics. Hmmm. Never knew Leinil Francis Yu did a Batman book, with it being a crossover at that. Either was gutter work to show his skills (with Superman Birthright being a gold standard in every front; Pencils & Inks w/ Gerry A. and writing by Mark Waid) and put on his favorite co-inker Gerry Alangulian (RIP) to establish themselves as a major force in the biz 🤷🏽‍♂️ Either way, this was an interesting book and Leinil kind of elevated what would’ve been an over the top yet inane crossover

So while a lot of things now make sense. But how in the world did David Cain get Lady Shiva to have a baby and then raise her?

I remember being very underwhelmed by how Psycho-Pirate was dealt with at the end of that arc, I liked the idea of Arnold Wesker being the one guy around that Roger Hayden couldn't manipulate because of the Scarface connection... But it all went way too fast. Honestly being a Psycho-Pirate fan has been quite taxing during that time period (2019 circa) First he gets shafted one-shot style in my Batman comic book Then after finally being introduced to live action in the Arrowverse crossover *Elseworlds* in 2018 (really good crossover, highly recommended), he's set to make his big time appearance in the 2019 *Crisis on Infinite Earths* crossover (not really good, not recommended, just watch a compilation of the cameos on youtube and you're good) And what happens? _"Oh yeah Psycho-Pirate, he didn't appear right? We didn't have time to for him, oh well who cares?"_ His Medusa Mask would later be used for a crappy episode of *The Flash* season 7 He better be in the upcoming Tomorrowverse Crisis trilogy, I haven't spotted him in the trailers yet but...

I still don’t like the idea of flashpoint Batman being in the main dc universe it really made no sense whatsoever in my opinion for him to be in this universe.

Ouch, that infamous "Thomas mops the floor with the entire Batfamily off screen", yeah, back when this issue came out quite a few people had some issues with that ^^ By the way, I'm not 100% sure how this Huntress, Helena Wayne, differs from the pre-Rebirth counterpart from Earth-2, but that one was very close to Alfred, who was pretty much a second father to her... so maybe even if it's not the Alfred she knew, she is still pissed that Bane and Thomas killed him? Can't wait for your review of #85 ! As a huge fan of Psycho-Pirate, our year 2019 was brutal for me. -In the *Batman* comics, he gets taken out in one punch from the Ventriloquist after being hyped for 85 issues (the idea was pretty neat though) - and in the *Arrowverse* , after being properly hyped in the 2018 crossover *Elseworlds* (still my favorite crossover <3 and Psycho-Pirate ends the event by telling Doctor Destiny => _"Don't worry, Doctor. Everything is as it should be. The stage is set. Worlds will live. Worlds will die. And the universe will never be the same."_ ) ... and in the 2019 *Crisis on Infinite Earths* , Roger Hayden didn't even show up >< nothing, not even a mention in passing... I kept hoping every episode that he would appear in this one, then the next, then dang it at least give him one scene in the last one, aaaaand nothing, aww maybe in the deleted scenes? Nope... Turned out that they actually tried to insert Roger Hayden in there, but apparently they didn't have enough time to fit all the heroes, and they already had the Anti-Monitor as the Big Bad, so "meh" It's not like the dude has legions of fans who would be pissed off if he was omitted from *Crisis* , so yeah 2019 wasn't a good year for us 7 members of the Psycho-Pirate fan-club (> ;_;)> RF
