Top 5 SÉZANE Pieces Worth Buying | Honest Sézane Review and Try-on
Luxury brands only change their strategies for the super rich...The price increases of Fendi, LV, Givenchy and the like are nonsense. Therefore, those ordinary rich people or middle- and upper-class people who can really afford it need to think twice before buying it. If they are just looking to save face, they will buy from kislux .
I just bought a fake kislux and I love the fact that I didn't have to spend 3-4k on it. Yes, it's beautiful, but it's just a bag and no one cares if it's real or fake. I have a lot of real stuff that no one cares about.
It all boils down to YOUR own personal style, and sticking to it.
@@Gooeybrowniebaby exactly!
They are made in China. Enough said.
*hotdups* bags🥰🥰 can be formal or casual, easy to match❤The copy embroidery skills are really detailed
Love all the suggestions. The longchamp bag is really beautiful, and definitely better quality than the Sézane one (though I too have the Claude in my wishlist ahah). Also a fan of the L’Occitane Shea Butter hand cream & almond body cream. ❤
Oh, you think? I really love the look of it, but I haven’t tried any of Sézane’s bags yet. And yes, L’Occitane is so hard to resist!
lovec its look too, but I think in terms of design it doesn’t match the price point, even if it’s really aesthetic. Also, the leather that longchamp uses is far less prone to scratches. But as I said, if someone were to give me a Claude for Xmas, I wouldn’t complain 😂😂
@ hahaha me neither!
I didn’t like *hotdups* before. I thought it couldn’t hold anything. Now with the change of habits, mobile payment, almost no cash, I think it’s not bad. It’s enough for daily outings. If you go abroad for a long distance, it’s safe to carry it diagonally. If it’s not important, you can use a backpack.
Obsessed with the Longchamp bag 😍 might have to gift that to myself!! 😂
@@luxebyangela such a beauty right?

What I want to say is that I spent less than $ 100 from the fake LV I bought from kislux . The quality is very good. I spent four years on the plane, the bus, and anywhere. As a rag. I specially smelled the bag and compared the stitching color. This is the most authentic I have ever seen. To this day, this bag is still very strong. Although it has been abused, the material is still great.
I went to Gucci today and the salesperson told me that they often can't tell the difference between an authentic and a kislux bag. Surprised to hear that from the SA.
I totally agree, that your wardrobe staples should support YOUR lifestyle! For me personally, I don´t own a single pair of ballet flats. They don´t support my feet and when I try to walk in them, I look like a duck. If I´m looking for a nice and comfortable shoe for the warmer month, I usually wear a nice sandal. I also don´t have any use for a beige trenchcoat. In fact, nothing in my wardrobe is beige, it just looks horrible on me, and my outer layer is usually a dark colour. What I own that most people would not consider a staple, is a black leather pencil skirt. I wear it year in, year out to a lot of different occasions in a lot of different styles. Thinking of costs per wear, this is probably the one piece in my wardrobe that was worth it´s money the most.
@@JasminLeudesdorff Thank you so much for sharing! I love how you’ve built a wardrobe that works for your lifestyle, exactly how it should be. Your black leather pencil skirt sounds incredible! It’s so inspiring when a unique piece becomes a true staple.
Those are great tips! It was easier for me to avoid temptation with all the Black Friday sales this year because we traveled out of town for Thanksgiving week and I was unplugged. I highly recommend just not looking (unless you need something)! 😊❤
@@rosej9686 Hi Rose! That’s such a smart move! Out of sight, out of mind, right? I might just borrow it next year. Thanks for sharing ❤️
An excellent and relevant video, Ana Paula. I just returned from being home in Toronto for 2 months and I was sorely tempted by the Sephora savings event. For those who know me, I do not wear makeup and my real interest is skincare. After spending hundreds of dollars on items I did not need, I returned almost everything. The products were all unused and I gave my reason for return as “buyer’s remorse”. I have decided to be more cautious about how I spend my money.
Thanks for sharing, and honestly, good call returning those products! I’m big on returning stuff myself, so I totally get it. What’s helped me stay on track is this little Excel sheet where I log all my expenses. Kinda nerdy, I know, but it really helps me stay on top of my spending and not give in to impulse buys ☺
Great tips, thanks❤
@@KimberlyPerrotis I’m so glad you liked them!
Amazing tips, Ana! I think I’m usually pretty good at following these rules, except when it comes to second-hand shopping 😶
@@marianapereirae Thank you Mariana 🥰 I know what you mean! those prices can be so hard to resist!
I love the white round neck t-shirt w short sleeves and on your picture posted on your video Where is it from? With dark or blue deco on the on the back and sleeves
It's from Massimo Dutti (I am wearing it in a size S for reference): go.shopmy.us/p-10554642
Ah yes great tips here. I need to get more particular when shopping in particular second hand. I tend to buy more impulsively when buying second hand as the prices are so cheap but if you are not going to wear it in the end it is a waste of money and it adds up. I know what you mean about buying something that will not match with the pieces you already own I have made this mistake. Yes identifying wardrobe gaps is super important. Yes buying online has its challenges. Great informative video here! 👍
Thank you! 😊 I completely get what you mean about second-hand shopping, those prices can be so tempting! And identifying those wardrobe gaps is definitely half the battle, but sticking to them can be the real challenge. It’s so easy to get distracted by those eye catching pieces!
Totally agree about prioritization! I always get tempted by shiny new stuff and forget to grab what I actually need
Same here! It’s so easy to get caught up in the excitement of something new and forget about the practical stuff
What size do you wear? It looks like a large size. The color is beautiful.
@@Ana-uy5kj Yes, the coat is definitely oversized! I even sized down to a 34 (I usually wear a 36), and it still feels roomy
I completely agree with most of these! I work from home and have kids and I just don't feel like a blazer or loafers fit with my lifestyle at all.
Yes, I get it! I work in tech where the dress code is pretty relaxed and honestly, just wearing a trench coat and tailored trousers already makes me feel dressed up, so a black blazer would definitely be overkill for me 😅
I regret buying anything with loud colors- bright green, cheesy yellows. Also any dress that is bodycon. I love the lighting in this video, btw. Your shirt, eyes, and hair look so beautiful.
Yes, bright colors can definitely be tricky to style, and ugh, bodycon dresses are a no-go for me too, they just don’t suit my body. I use natural light, so luckily, the sun was on its best behavior that day. 😅 Thank you so much for watching!
Luv my loafers! I have many pairs. Balletina flats have zero support and make your feet look huge. JMO 💁🏼♀️
Some ballet flats definitely can make your feet look huge, I won’t lie! 😆 I personally prefer the ones with a tiny heel (2-3 cm), just feels a bit more comfortable. But it’s all about personal preference at the end of the day!
While I myself fell the victim to this convention staples, I do agree with you for the most part! I’d also like to add Birkenstock and Sambas as popular items that don’t work for my personal and lifestyle😅
@@ohsteffi I think we’ve all fallen victim to these “staples” at some point! For me, it was Dr. Martens and Fjällräven backpacks when they were trending, I ended up decluttering both. I almost fell for the Sambas too, but thankfully, I stayed strong 😅
Blue jeans, white Tshirt, trench coat are definitely not for me. I also agree on loafers , any fragile heels and denim jackets 😁😁
@@elizaollett Great to know I’m not alone on denim jackets and loafers! Oh yes, white T-shirts, I do own a couple now, but I didn’t for years, and honestly, I wouldn’t consider them a wardrobe staple
I have a black leather blazer that I wear frequently.
@@robynwells8249 That’s awesome! A black blazer is such a classic, I only included it in this list because it’s just not something that works for my lifestyle
I so agreed with all of these. Your essentials should be practical, comfortable and work for your lifestyle.
@@Saltyat60-wq7yg exactly! Essentials should always fit your lifestyle, not the other way around.
Respect all your thoughts but I had almost everything you mentioned but kitten heels, haha🤭🤭, always love your vdo a lot
@@lalaoys2518 it’s funny how different our preferences can be, but that’s exactly how personal style should be, in my opinion! Thanks for always watching and supporting! it means so much! 🥰
I agree with you on every single one of these, except the kitten heels. They are feminine and comfortable, for me, as I don’t wear regular heels. I’ve never owned loafers (too masculine / heavy) or many blazers (too corporate and warm for my climate). I live in the US, and I don’t wear leggings outside of the house or the gym, which I do think is a rarity. It’s nice to be validated that someone else agrees I’m not missing out. 😊 And, love your channel.
@@katyadams8973 I do think kitten heels are super cute, but I just can’t seem to get along with them. I think I just have terrible balance, so they’re probably harder for me than they need to be! 😅And yes, you’re not alone! we’re definitely not missing out by not owning certain things. It’s all just a matter of personal preference. Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts and for the support, I really appreciate it! 🥰
Totally agree with you on the black blazer, kitten heels and leggings! By the way, I always love how your make-up and hair looks, would you ever consider making a video about your everyday hair and make-up routine?
@@suzanne95 Thank you so much, that’s so kind! Honestly, I’ve never thought about it because my makeup routine is super simple, just mascara, lipstick, and blush, so it wouldn’t be long enough for a full video, but I could definitely share it in a shorter format!
My non staples: white button up shirt, trench coat, leggings (where I live, people go everywhere with them…but ehm…NO. I only go to the swimming pool in them), blue/navy tops or blouses. …the list could go on frankly 😂 I totally agree on the kitten heels: I have a pair I haven’t worn in 7 years. I think being a size FR40/42 and 1.72 just doesn’t allow to have any balance in them. Or any thin heel, tbh.
@@thelidiaedit Totally with you on the leggings, no matter how popular they are, you won’t see me in them either! I do have to admit, though, that I love a trench coat and a white shirt, but I totally get why they’re not for everyone! Btw, we have very similar sizing; I’m 1.73cm and also wear a FR40, so I completely understand the balance struggle.
@@ana_paulav🥲 moved to find someone who understands the balance struggle. I think there are so many things I appreciate on other people but not on me. Like trench coats or even pencil skirts. I think they look phenomenal on others, but I think they just make me look way too serious instead of elegant. I guess it’s the same with you and the biker jacket, which I love, instead. Those pieces speak about our personalities, so how can they be universal staples?
@@thelidiaedit Exactly! there are so many things I admire on others but don’t feel right on me either. And you’re spot on about pieces reflecting our personalities, what works for one person might feel completely off for someone else
If you can't afford designer bags and feel a certain way about expensive designer bags, then don't watch this video. Like do you read a video title before clicking on it? The title makes it clear that the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful and although I can't afford these bags yet, I know one day I will. I wanted to know which designer bag was truly worth my hard-earned money and one that I would get the most out of. That being said, if you're reading this, thank you for sharing this video with us and please make more videos like this. Maybe kislux is your next choice?
I agree with you on all points. Kitten heels were invented by people who don't know pavement... Depending on the material, cut and color, a blazer can look very good. It doesn't have to be the classic black blazer. I avoid the "white shirt" - it doesn't suit me and doesn't go with my skirts. I don't wear pants that might look good. Your scarf looks very pretty and effortless. Thanks for your video!
@@Zoe-zh3ty so true about kitten heels! And I agree about blazers. I actually like the look of them, just not the classic black ones. I’m thinking of adding one to my closet, hopefully, I’ll find the right cut that works for me. Oh no, I love white shirts, but I get what you mean! Depending on the material, they can be tricky to style, especially a structured cotton poplin shirt. I definitely played around with my scarf for a bit until it finally looked right 😅 so I’m glad it looks effortless, even though it wasn’t! Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
Agree on the black blazer! this made me rethink what wardrobe basics actually work for my style, thank you!
@@sarahayess I’m glad you enjoyed the video! It’s always fun to figure out what actually works for your style!
Hi Ana! I have to agree with you about loafers. I know they're extremely popular right now, but I can't get past how masculine they look, so they've never become a part of my wardrobe. I don't own a pair of leggings because I don't like the feeling of something so tight around my legs. (I don't have any skinny jeans for the same reason.) I see both everywhere I go though, so I know I'm in the minority where I live, here in Texas. I own several denim jackets, but I don't reach for them very often. I do like the way they look, but I find them a bit restrictive. The same goes for my blazers, which is why they never get worn. Like you, I also find them a bit too dressy for my lifestyle. I guess I just have to start wearing them with my jeans, just to get some use out of them! Great video, Ana! 😊❤
@@rosej9686 Hi Rose! I’m so glad I’m not alone on the loafers! And you’re absolutely right, there’s no point in owning leggings if they’re not comfortable for you. Funny enough, it’s the opposite where I live, very few people wear leggings out, so you’d fit right in. Blazers are tricky, but I do love how they look with jeans. I’ve been thinking of trying that combo myself if I ever get one, though I’d probably go for another neutral color instead of black, it just feels a little less formal. Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I love chatting about this stuff!
My go-to shoes are dark brown leather clogs. I pair these with flared jeans.
@@mariannacoomes1094 Love the 70s energy! I used to have a pair of clogs when I was younger and I loved them, they were so comfy!
I bought a tan bottega shoulder pouch bag in my online shop *amzrepe* reduce to £387! Bargain, very happy with it 😊

How come people (anybody over 20) need to be taught « how to buy quality clothing » ???
This is a great video, I love it, my LV bag is a kislux , the quality is perfect and the price is great, I was not disappointed
I love your makeup look. What are you wearing?
@@mariannacoomes1094 Thank you! I’m wearing Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Tinted Lip Oil in Delight and Merit’s Flush Balm in Cheeky :)
Thank you! I didn’t realize you are from Peru; one of my favourite countries and absolutely beautiful wool garments!
@@catherinewiseman-hakes5037 Thank you! I haven’t had the chance to mention it before, but yes, I’m from Peru 🥰 I’m happy to hear it’s one of your favourite places
Hola Ana Paula, I love what you've done with this video...the graphics, everything. I totally agree: natural does not necessarily mean high quality. Cotton is a good example of it: very few brands do 100% cotton with good quality now, to the point I feel that a little bit of viscose or synthetics with cotton is much better: first because it's not going to shrink, secondly because there's a higher chance they don't use low quality cotton. I didn't know many things about Alpaca, so thank you for the info. Btw: unpopular opinion - I sooo dislike linen :D always have. am I the only one? Btw: could you do an Everlane review, please? I've always wondered how they size and if they're really worth it.
Hola Lia! So happy to see you here! I’m really glad you enjoyed the video and learned something about alpaca, it’s my favorite fabric! 🥰 I didn’t know blending cotton with viscose could help prevent shrinking, that's interesting, because I always notice some shrinkage with my cotton pieces. Personally, I love linen, but it’s not always the best choice for formal settings because of the creasing. For casual days, though, I’m all in! And an Everlane review sounds like a great idea! I only have a couple of their pieces though, so I’d need to try more to make it thorough.
This was a wonderful, informative video, Ana! Thank you! 😊❤
Happy to see you here, Rose! I'm so glad you liked it! 🥰
Unfortunately merino wool is not cruelty free. 80% of all merino wool comes from Australia where they brutally practice "mulesing".
I completely agree, it’s such an inhumane practice, even though it’s often justified as a way to protect sheep from flystrike. I should’ve mentioned this in the video, but I personally make a point to buy from brands that carry the Responsible Wool Standard certification, which, from my understanding, prohibits mulesing
Mulesing is in the process of being phased out in Australia, with many big brands already completed the phase out. As always some brands do better than others.
@ that’s good to hear! Thanks for sharing
I only buy 100% natural-fiber/material items for my wardrobe. Even blends with a little Elastane, which I hate, makes a fabric sweaty, itchy and non-recyclable.
I try to do this too, especially for tops and coats, but I sometimes compromise when it comes to tailored pants for the colder months. I just haven’t been lucky enough to find the right ones yet. If you have any recommendations for brands that make great pants, I’d love to hear them!
It´s not so easy. It is also important that the material supports/ensures the function and wearability of a garment. Examples: My husband had a pure wool sweater (not cheap at all) that kept getting longer. Finally, I could have worn it as a midi dress. This means that heavy woolen items can benefit from a touch of synthetic material to keep their shape. Another example: Until recently, I only wore natural fibers. After long meetings, my skirts looked like they had been on the Orient Express. Now I prefer natural fibers with a touch of synthetic because they wrinkle less. Also linen doesn't crease elegantly either, it simply becomes wrinkled and unsightly. High quality fashion uses often a blend of materials.
I completely agree, nothing is ever as simple as it seems! I just wanted to share what I’ve learned and what works for me as a regular consumer, not an expert. It’s really interesting what you shared about your husband’s sweater, that has never happened to me! I usually avoid synthetics in knitwear because I’ve had bad experiences with them getting slightly deformed or even shrinking, even when I treated them carefully. Plus, I’m not a fan of the plasticky feeling some synthetic sweaters have. I don’t believe anyone could completely prevent linen from creasing either, but I’ve noticed a difference between cheaper, thinner linen that creases like crazy and higher-quality linen that’s thicker and doesn’t crease as much. And I totally agree that not all organic fabrics are suited for tailoring, many people recommend wool for that. Have you tried it? I have a structured wool mini skirt and a pair of wool pants that don’t crease much at all!

I enjoyed and learned a lot from this video, Ana! I also love alpaca wool and prefer to knit some of my pieces so I know it's great quality and value for the price I pay for the yarn! It's so nice to know you're Peruvian, another lovely fellow from South America 🥰
