Bansi and the Magic Seed
Through an exciting nature's voyage, Young Bansi is determined to explore magic seeds of life. Bansi is so curious to find out ‘How a tiny seed can become a mighty oak tree’! He is so anxious to discover the power of a seed. His excitement sees no bounds, when a Seed Fairy appears in his dreams and sets him on a mission to discover the hidden treasures of Mother Earth! Thereon, a thrilling adventure ceases Bansi, as he unravels each clue... some challenging, some scary, but mostly enthralling fun, as he encounters in his journey, a vast diversity and with it the dynamic energies at play!

Cecilia Cristerna-Ragasol
Cecilia Cristerna-Ragasol is a 22 year young Mexican, who is studying Agronomy in Rennes, France. Biology has always been close to her heart, so much so, her peers thought her to be strange speaking to plants and trees. Brought up in an ambiance of Indian chantings and spirituality, she was eager and enthusiastic to discover India. When the opportunity arose for an internship in sustainable agriculture at Annadana Soil and Seed Savers Network in India, it seemed the perfect choice!
The 4 month experience and exposure of living a holistic lifestyle at Annadana, allowed her creative faculties to blossom giving birth to Bansi and the Magic Seed. So inspired was she with the vibrant yet serene ambiance, she worked night into day determined to contribute towards Annadana's mission ‘Let's Seed India' by Sowing Seeds of Hope & Consciousness.
Sangita Sharma, Chairperson of Annadana,
Sangita Sharma is a Bangalore-based campaigner for chemical-free foods and an organic farmer who goes by her inner call. She founded Annadana a decade ago with like minded partners that focuses on providing sustainable farm solutions with seed conservation at its core and advocating livelihood issues to equip marginal farmers and their children.
Three passions have been the underlying force of her work over the past decade - a deep love and reverence for nature, search for knowledge and a concern for justice. Sangita believes in the law of abundance that whilst giving, you receive manifold.
Sangita recognised Cecilia’s inherent creative talent. She triggered sparks of interest whilst narrating her imaginative scripts of a Seed Fairy and the mystical power of a seed, symbolic of a child! When nurtured, the seed blossoms to giving only abundance. Fascinated, Cecilia decided to creatively manifest this into a story book as seen through the eyes of a child and hence, 'Bansi and the Magic Seed' was born.
