They look like a standard #hook to me, apart from the dude is squatting down, throwing like a robot, and lifting his heels for no reason. I can't find two videos showing the same #roundhouse punch, but I believe they're the same thing as a lunging forward swinging punch, AKA, a #haymaker.

When using the one knuckle punch or four knuckle(median knuckles) place the thumb on top of the index finger not curled under as you would with a normal punch. If you strike a heavy bag you will understand why. When you penetrate the bag with a one knuckle punch with your thumb where it would be as a normal punch, it pushes against the first knuckle of your thumb and could jam or break it struck hard enough. Some leather bag training to harden the knuckles would be ideal, imo.

Most obviously he keeps twisting out his heels which is a pretty common mistake for beginners, what it does is basically turn your leg into a shock absorber pulling the power out of each hit, instead it's better to practice with the heel down and drive thru the target with power from your whole body. more advanced students can push into the hit more and the heel will leave the ground but it has to be done correctly or not at all.

sooo, where are the 'thought's on the one-knuckle punch" ? sorry but this video makes no sense at all. i'm studying san soo and we use dragons daily for training precision striking to the organs. even knowing what one-knuckle roundhouse punches are, this vid seems pretty pointless, can't imagine how confused others are. why not actually say what you're trying to say???
