Joel Embiid focusing on winning the rebounding title, playing defense, moving the ball, and being in the best shape possible. That's the only thing that matters. It's a mental thing and its his approach. If he wants to play like a guard, the 76ers will never win.

Couldn't agree more DFJ... the TWolves got worse. Despite KAT leaving a lot to be desired, he improves NY. He provides spacing for every player on that team (in the season at least), and is still in his physical prime. He will keep defensives honest from a spacing stand point.

Good video. PGs size, combined with his shooting ability, will be a much needed addition against the top-tier teams in the East. With a lesser responsibility offensively, he could become a top 3 shooter from downtown this season.

SGA #1 DeAaron Fox Elite both ends not just 1. Curry Brunson Luka Harden can argue 3-4-5 Harden makes ppl around him better than others. Harden trained Maxey, that says a ton. Harden elevated Zubac a ton. Luka & Brunson does kinda as well. To an extent. Assist numbers don't necessarily mean you're making people better. You could just be getting assist by it. People being open, that's not necessarily making em better. Just knock a shot down. Rest those guys not playoff proven(more than 1 year)

Yeah Maxey is still growing, and I don’t think he’s a top 5 point guard at the moment. He’s top 10 in my book definitely.

Based on the other teams Power Forward will dictate if he starts, Randle, Portis, Greek, etc. Type Power Forwards.
@@OmaAlkebulan-grace that’s true, but one thing we gotta consider too is his contract. He signed the minimum, and Caleb Martin signed a multi year contract, so it’s safe to say that Martin will be guaranteed a starting role.

But I do think come playoff time or if a in season adjustment need to be made, Nick nurse will not hesitate to make a change, especially with the size at the pf position throughout the east . Also quick question, if yabusele plays great is it a possibility that we can extend him during the season ot would we have to wait & make room ? Curious on how that would go ?
@@Birds-6ers I agree with the first comment, it’s right on point. Contract extensions are only eligible to players that sign for 3 or more years, so we will have to wait till free agency if we would want to resign Yabusele if he has a great season.

His on ball defense against faster forwards is the issue which leads to to many fouls but against Greek & Randle he’s tough enough to hold his own not completely stop but he won’t be no push over
