Thank you for saving my life, or rather letting me play this childhood game, same deal lol

It installed without the taskmanager even being necessary, as I clicked install and it worked, and I even fixed the texture glitch by setting it to run in compatibility mode. The only problem now is that it lags when I talk to someone. I am on windows 11.

For some reason the game seems to have messed up texture with the character models,spongebob eyes and hat,sandys clothes and the other characters eyes seems to be transparent

I did EVERYTHING and it's all looking like yours but when I click play game a window pop up and when I click yes I don't enter the game and when I click no I don't enter the game (sorry for bad English it's my second language)

I know its 4 years later but so glad i found your vid i've had this issue with several old archived games and this at least helped me find the programs that were causing issues so i can confirm steps are only a tiny bit different but still works now on windows 11

This ended up taking quite a few tries because apparently multiple programs kept interfering with the setup and the right program to inspect had the InstallShield name on it instead, but it all worked after finally getting the right things closed.

I followed this tutorial and everything worked fine until I try to actually run the game but when I try to it just shows a black screen for a second before going back to desktop, any fix or should I use a vm

Got as far as the play game and it gave a black screen for a few seconds and stopped ended up giving up on it cause it wasnt worth the headache to play a 20 year old point and click game.

Not sure if you still manage this or not but when I get to the part where you click to install or reinstall it works for me just like it does for you but when I get it done with and go to play it goes black screen then just closes. I hope you can help.

When I get to the analyze wait chain part and try to delete the process, I get an "Access is denied" error and it refuses to delete it. It's rundll32.exe. Apparently it's a core windows file/process and that's why it won't let me end it. Not sure how to forcibly end the process.

after following this tutorial, no matter what source i get this game from. the game crashes after the first cutscene and i get (sb2.exe has stopped working) I haven't found any fixes for this im not sure if there is one im running on windows 10

I know how to get reports but after getting a report only showing package name and high bug and medium bugs. I want how many packages and classes and lines of code in a reports.
