Hey brother keep making content because you seem like a very nice guy. However I don’t know if you noticed or not but the game volume was absurdly higher than your voice during the fight so we can’t hear anything you’re saying. I’m not sure if you know that or not because im sure you’ve watched the video yourself and must have noticed. But then again, I thought maybe you were doing that on purpose to be funny and it made me laugh quite a bit at the thought of that. Either way, nice job! The game doesn’t look great but that’s not your fault!

Use the companion pick-up glitch. Companions will pickup anything you ask them to. Regardless of the weight total. Like how one can use dogmeat to get the cryolator at low levels.

18:05 That would be the Idiot Savant perk activating. Anytime you do something that earns experience points, there's a chance it will trigger, and give you a little bonus XP. It's been years, and I've rarely heard the original sound effect. Mine's modded, so whenever I get it to pop up, it always has the Kool-Aid Man shouting "OH YEAAAAHHH!!" LOL.

Oh! Sprucing up the ol' settlement. Looking good. Lots of power armors! Wow, haha. There's a way to fix that gap between the walls and the ceiling. There are actually two kinds of floors, one for the ground level (plus the variant with the foundation), and an upper floor that has a thicker base that fills the space between the ground floor, and upper floors. I'm way behind, so I don't know if you knew already or not. ^__^

Also note that full-auto weapons do less damage than semi-autos. Being low on ammo, you might not want a full-auto.

2:00:08 To make it full auto, you need to take it to a work bench and modify it. You can change the fire rate for a lot of guns from semi-auto to full-auto, but you might need a perk to unlock it when you level up. I forget. Might be Gun Nut. It should say what required perks you need at the workbench, if it's locked. Alternately, you can find a full-auto version in the wild off enemies or from vendors.

1:56:15 You should see how many ghouls I had to go through while I was down in this area in my Fallout: Zombies Roasting On An Open Fire video. It's a good thing I had more than enough ammo. The whole video is basically me being surrounded by zombies wherever I go, haha.

1:15:43 I'm surprised you can get down there. I need to use a mod to get rid of the invisible floor that blocks me from progressing the quests there. Also, I too recently had trouble with a pair of assaultrons who kept getting me with their laser-faces. Luckily it was right after I had saved, but they still got me a few times.

I always tend to get lost on my way to Goodneighbor. They have a good weapon shop though. "I didn't see that coming!" Me: *Knows that basement.* >__> I was lasered in the face my first time too. Those pesky master locks can be rather picky-pun not intended, but I'll still take credit for it, lol. Sometimes when you get stuck in a spot, you can fast travel your way out of it. The Gunners who hang out on the overpasses don't have good spatial awareness. Often times they'll miss the elevator, and simply jump off the ledge. Oh, and those were friendly turrets in Virgil's cave. Shooting them makes Virgil hostile towards you. Virgil is the NPC you're supposed to talk with to advance the quest, not attack him. ^__^; You can't kill him because he's a protected NPC tied to the story plot.

To be honest, despite having gone through this dungeon many times... I had forgotten the elevator was there the last time, and I was going around in circles wondering why I couldn't get to the lower levels, haha! =^__^=

That electric thing on the ceiling was a trap. Once you opened the box, it triggered. They can be disarmed before opening if you notice them.

It feels weird seeing the lip sync like that. You can keep Nick with you, because Dogmeat shows up outside the door and will do the tracking regardless if he's your companion or not. Also, I'm telling ya, you should get your character's addiction cured from the doctor in town, in front of the Power Noodles stand. You will suffer permanent debuffs until you get it cured, like lowering your endurance (giving you less health), lower agility (giving you less action points, making it harder to sneak, etc., and lowering your damage resistance. Some addictions even lower your charisma, making speech checks fail where you could have succeeded. Check out your Status tab in the pipboy. There's an option to "show effects" to see all your current buffs and debuffs.

Nick is a good option to take to Far Harbor. He took the shortcut out of the tunnel just outside the vault area, that's why he disappeared.

Quick note as I'm watching: the wedding rings have no impact on the story or gameplay, and is only there for sentimental/roleplay purposes. They can be sold off with no consequences. Additionally, you have two extra sets of combat armors equipped. You can sell one of each (Combat Armor Helmet, and Combat Armor Left Arm). They have a "(2)" next to them. You have one set equipped, and the other is extra. I'd also sell off all the Jet and Mentats, unless you're planning to pop a whole lot of chems. You can find them laying around everywhere; same with Psycho. I'd keep some Med-X on hand for tough fights to temporarily boost my damage resistance.

That sound you heard at the start of the video was the UFO crashing. You can follow the blood trail to find a unique weapon (but it has very limited ammo, but can be converted to a different ammo type at a workbench). There was also a weapon called the Syringer in that shack nearby. You can craft various darts to use with it from the chem stations, like single shot syringes that can cause poison damage, bleed damage, can calm targets, cause them to flee, make the target harder to detect you, and a chance to cause paralysis. Some can make targets take extra damage for two minutes, and one causes them to go berserk and attack others around them. It may not be the most useful weapon, and I think some syringe ammos are locked behind certain perks, but I forget. It might be best on a stealth/sniper build to debuff enemies at a distance. Back in the Beantown Brewery, you missed the Picket Fences magazine by the elevator, next to the steam trunk. It unlocks some settlement build items. Stun-lock can be pretty bad when trying to reload. Getting staggered also interrupts the spin-up on the minigun and gattling laser. Also, congrats on ambushing the ambushers in Hardware Town! The person calling for help was going to lure you into a trap, but you went in through the basement instead and surprised them. :) You don't need to pick up any blank folders or burnt magazines, as they have no value or crafting components, and are only there for decoration. Oh, and welcome to Diamond City! I do the bulk of my shopping there. Most of the shops are closed at night except for one of them where a Mr. Handy comes out to do the night shift. I don't think I've ever taken that elevator into Diamond City. I always just go through the front door, haha. I hope you don't mind all my tips. ^__^ I can go on and on about Fallout all day. Have you done the next-gen update? It did a number on my end, but since you're playing vanilla Fallout 4, it shouldn't impact you as hard as it did me. There is another patch incoming that will hopefully address some of the issues caused by the update.

Now that you're in Far Harbor, I'd advise talking to the doctor in town to cure your character's addictions. The little orange icon in the lower right corner shows that you're afflicted with something which can lower your stats, which in turn, depending on which stats are currently debuffed, affects things like speech checks, damage resistance, health, and stamina, etc. They can cure you directly, or sometimes you can buy items that can cure it on the fly when you're out in the field.

I'm still watching the video, but before I forget, you can watch holotapes directly from your pipboy. You don't need to find a computer. Toggle the holotape from the Misc inventory to play them.

Though now, after about ten hours of downloading the next-gen update for Fallout, it locked me out of my mods, so I'm back to playing Skyrim until they release another patch to fix it.

I don't think you picked up the trunk key. You held the button down to move the body, instead of looting it. It should go to that trunk with the master lock. The new settlement is looking good! Also, at the drive-in settlement, you can scrap those radioactive barrels in the water, so you don't have to soak up any more rads when walking past it.

Ah, I knew I forgot something. The bottlecap mines are some of my favorites. They are very powerful, plus you can pick up the caps off the ground after it goes off, though depending on the terrain it might be difficult. Be sure to collect all the hidden lunchboxes littered around the wasteland. They can be used to build more.

Groovy~ I can't wait for the next-gen update coming on the 25th. Just finished watching the new Fallout show, and I can't wait for season two. Ah, the "Beep! Beep! Beep!" of the super mutant with the nuclear football.. I still panic every time I hear that beeping coming closer.

Taking some inspiration from your settlement build, I expanded on it and made my own version with about 95% vanilla game assets in Sanctuary. I got the video up today on UA-cam, if you're interested in what might be possible in settlement building. I made two versions (and I'm designing a third now), but something happened to my original planned footage of the first version. I've been waiting about a week for Xbox to upload it, but upon further digging, my clips apparently don't exist anywhere on the network, except a few outtakes and bloopers. So don't worry about settlements catching fire-that's just my weather mod pranking me in the middle of recording. However, settlers do tend to find their way onto roofs from time to time...
