@@TheVeinInstitute yes I'm aware of leaving them untreated. Unfortunately studying these procedures I just don't feel there safe or a solution. Evlt initially works. But according to the stats for long term. It can cause way more issues. Sclerotherapy can cause blood clots also. And alot of new veins can form. Ty. Venaseal is even worse and dangerous

Hi @bowtech1020, thanks for your inquiry. After a minimally invasive procedure like Laser Ablation, clot risk is minimal (less than 1%, or around 1 in 10000). Swelling is unlikely after sclerotherapy, ClariVein, and Medical Superglue treatments. But it is to be expected after Laser Ablation and Radiofrequency Ablation. Typically, it goes down within 3 days but may last up to a week. We provide compression bandages to help reduce swelling, which we advise you to wear for the first 24 hours after treatment. We also provide compression stockings to be worn for a few days after that.
