Alcohol ink tumbler
Переглядів 9 тис.7 років тому
My take on alcohol ink tumbler, not a pro by any means. Hope this helps some body.
I know this video is old but I am SO SO SO grateful for you! I have been struggling for days trying to get adhesive tape on my cup straight! I had to add transfer tape over the top of the vinyl basically to hold the pattern together but again GRATEFUL GRATFEFUL! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I can't seem to get my template on my cup to save my life. I decided to start out with something i thought would be simple, a v split but when trying to peel back to put on cup the vsplit starts breaking a part. I don't have a straight line to pull back on if that makes sense. LOL I'm probably not making sense because I'm so frustrated. Love your tumbler!
Love this cup!! Thank you for sharing this one!! 💘
Thank you.
This was a excellent demonstration/ tutorial. I'm ready to start doing this. You make it look so easy. Thanks alebay customs.
I love doing these bursts! Yours is great. Thanks for the tutorial! My problem comes from transferring to the cup. It helps me to put the paper on vinyl and cut it. Usually I get a wrinkle or something while putting the paper only on a cup. I’m going to watch this a few times!
Awesome 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👍🏽👍🏽…!!!
I've been looking for this video ma'am, thank you! So happy I found your channel. What are the dimensions you used for the zipper part?
Would like to purchase template
Can I please get the templates? tks
Thank you so much for this awesome video! It was a nightmare the first time I applied the cat scratch tape...lol. You made it look so easy! Now I need to try again. What is the little package you opened to use as a layer to protect your table from glitter?
Do you have a video tutorial to make with Cricut on this project? How can I get the template? What's your email.
Design Bundles uses a Cricut in her UA-cam tutorial for Money Card
Hi, love your work. I would love to purchase your template.
Awesome Designs! Can your templates be used with a cricut. I have a silhoutte but have yet to use it. 🤦🏾♀️. Your picture, is it done on sticker paper- I heard you mean something about sticky side but was not sure. Thank you!
The template is an svg so it should work with Cricut. I use 100lb weight card stock and cover front with clear vinyl.
Thank you!! The zipper part was giving me the blues!!!
Beautiful tumbler, is there a tutorial on how to print the design on that paper? Thanks
You made that look so easy!! I can get the image on the cup to save my life!! 🤦🏻♀️😂
What setting did you use to cut it. And also what side goes down on the mat? I have a cricut maker.
This video helped me. ua-cam.com/video/uyeuQlKEV8w/v-deo.html
She did blue side face down on the mat. On the Cricut Maker to cut I used the 'Removable vinyl' at less pressure. Hope that helps you. :-) I saw another crafter said they use Washy Tape setting on their Maker. I haven't tried that yet.
Hi first off love the tutorial the question I want to ask do you epoxy the tumbler?
Yes, I seal it then epoxy. Usually takes two coats.
What settings did you use to cut your tape ?
I use a silhouette, blade in three force in 18 speed on 8
oops, had a question? What cut setting did you use on your cutting machine for this cat scratch adhesive paper?
I use a silhouette, blade in three force in 18 speed on 8
I've watched several Burst Tumbler tutorials but THIS is the Best!! Your voice is soothing which is awesome bc sometimes trying new techniques is intimidating. I love you go over and repeat the important parts and you do this at a great pace!! I'm a subscriber now for sure!! Thank you! Thank you! (My daughter's name is also Elyse!)
I agree
Love it 😍
Hi! Thanks for the tutorial. I got the same tape. what side do you put down on the mat to cut? The blue or the white?
I put the blue side down. I use silhouette sticker paper white, blade 3 force 19 speed 8
@@alebay66 any idea what the setting would be to cut in Cricut?
I am just learning about this style of paint. I love how yours turned out. Which kind of epoxy did you use? Did you find that the triple thick was a necessary step? Now that it's been a few months, are you still happy with the results? Thank yo for sharing.
Next time rub it down with the rubbing alcohol first and then apply the inks. You will love the design it makes! You can also do that technique on tile. It turned out absolutely gorgeous! 👍😊
shannon crowe thank you for that tip, doing one today I'll try that.
so the triple thick, did it smear the alcohol ink? how many coats of epoxy?
Yvette Yoder I let the ink dry overnight, triple thick didn't do anything to inks. Two coats of epoxy.
very pretty
91% alcohol will also work...I saw it on another video on a Facebook group. Thank you for this video!
what are the exact steps? do I have to seal it with triple thicj before epoxy?
LOL...beautiful disaster. I love it....turned out great!!!!!
christine kowalski thank you
Thank you
