Adrian Belew Power Trio - Philadelphia, May 2017 - Part 2
Переглядів 4147 років тому
A longer excerpt from the evening, where things got wonderfully weird. Contains: Some King Crimson (including a bit where Ade takes on his and Robert's roles by virtue of looping), a woman that clearly loves Prog, some mind-blowing drumming by Tobias Ralph, some spacey jamming, some funk, Julie taking lead for a bit, the death of a stompbox and...catching flies.

Fabulous relatively early live footage of The Cure. Great quality, especially for the vintage. Many thanks to whomever pulled this together as well as to the gentleman that fixed the notorious audio dropouts on other copies of this. 01 Play For Today 02 Fire In Cairo 03 Grinding Halt 04 In Your House 05 Subway Song 06 10:15 Saturday Night 07 Accuracy 08 Boys Don't Cry 09 Jumping Someone Else's ...

Kraftwerk - Moments from Kansas City 2015

A quick stitching of moments from "The Robots" and "Musique Non Stop" from Kraftwerk at The Midland, Kansas City, 9 October 2015. Always poignant for me to see Ralf leave the stage at the end of a show.

NYE Berlin 2010

An hour or so of New Years Eve in Berlin, edited down to three minutes. It's worth noting that the vast majority of fireworks you'll see (and all you see in from 2:09 on) are from the crowd itself!

La presentación típica de un programa de los 60s con pantallazos y música de jazz de fondo, además en blanco y negro, no tiene precio. Otros tiempos, definitivamente. La estética pop de esos años no ha sido, ni será, jamás igualada.
Great Historical record, The Cure at their best IMHO.
He's playing a Wyman teardrop bass😢

The Nice were underated just as good as ELP

Always in my heart and mind the Cure
I tried to sneak into this Club with my fake ID. Didn’t work.😢 I had to wait until 1980 when they came to The Orpheum Theater.
Saw them back in 1968 in Germany Essen Incredible and magnificent a sensational Performance never forget
David Olist plays trumpet also on some of the Nice albums.
I am 68 years old . This eternal magnificent!!!. 1972,1973,1974. ELP live concerts and a few with 68 piece Orchestra, and more than once the spining piano up in the air. SALUD.
21:18 Imagine the lactic acid building up in his fingers!
Keith Emerson was too good at the keyboard
Punk was a genre that The Cure really excelled at, but I'm glad they didn't stay in this genre because it becomes very monotonous, exhausting and boring. As I listen to "A Subway Song", "Accuracy", "A Forest" [for the 10th or 100th time] and "In your House" they sound like they were already moving in another direction away from Punk to something else. It was interesting listening to this band constantly re-invent themselves over the decades. Just as The Beatles, The Doors and David Bowie did. Cheers from NYC!!!
I lived in Croydon then. I was 7.
This so unbelievably cool, the video effects were even more advanced than what came out in the first year of MTV.
Gracias 🖤...
Nessa época já faziam um show completo imagina 40 anos depois
Do the sound a bit like Devo on Grinding Halt?
No wonder Keith Emerson was called the jimi Hendrix of the keyboard, rock on
The Nice were way more fun than ELP. In the early seventies I had the Best of Nice in my record collection and Little Arabella is still my favourite song about a hippie chick.
Who plays keyboards?
Emerson el genio
Hard to believe Robert had short hair. I wonder if he would ever cut it short and go without makeup now?!

Crazy tight! Remember this is playing live. Spot on
Fade to Black
This would have been in pristine colour but like most of the BBC's Colour Me Pop shows the original tape was erased. Still great to see it anyway.
Tolhurst always lifts his hi-hat stick when he hits the snare drum. Still. It fits perfectly in its simplicity and is just basically great. Sometimes. Less is more.
" In Your house is great!!! ", 10:15 too. They were on fire that night. I love how clean. No effects on. drums. minimal is hest. Matt on keys. Robert with short hair. All so wonderful. The drums would have benefitted from a little reverb. The keyboard brings a lot as lol can only play one-fingered keys. A great catch of one of the most influential and unique bands of the 20th. Robert on the harmonica on the subway song is classic. I remember when hearing the scream at the end with headphones 🎧 on. Scared the s...t out of me. Plus Robert is just on fire. Simon too. Mathieu's keys are great too.
One of the most influential bands of the 20 to the 21st. They've influenced so many good sbd shitty bands. I love his guitar clan. They rage through a Grinding halt and more. Classic footage.
I was 8, didn't discover them till 87
Secrets, the best song of the set. ❤
What a truly glorious racket!
I really love that punk spirit of the first the cure.. before goth they were punks this is why goth was at first "post-punk" .. the energy, the youth, the power ... this is really THE CURE for everything
They've stayed " punk " in many of his songs. Recent. Robert will always be a punk. Not goth. You'll piss him off.
Boston is a gentrified hell hole now; I miss the old neighborhoods.
Saw KE with daggers and rocking the Hammond at Winter Garden Pavillion Weston Super Mare in the 60’s.
Brian Davison was a gifted drummer!
Best drumming I've seen and heard from Lol, close to Stephen Morris and how they just grind out single hits.
Ich höre immer wieder atemlos zu!
Keith was even badass in 1968. There will never be anyone like him.
I’m adding this concert to my list of time travel goals.
The copycat of Don Shinn = Keith E.
Keith with Judy Garland's hat
God bless everyone who filmed this.
Somebody in the US tried to capture it right.
sempre preferiti a ELP
OMG, I remember this show. I knew it was filmed, but I never knew how to see it.
