How to Make an EASY Self Binding Baby Blanket with The Cotton Blossom
I love the Babylock Serger. I would not have any other kind. I tried this way to bind my quilts. It takes the difficulty out of binding. You must try it.
Re: shoelaces-what did you use to seal the ends?
How do you finish the circle? (Attach the edges?)
Great ideas! I love my Triumph Serger! Do you have a pattern for the serger cover?
I earned some new features but was frustrated that the screen was not visible so that I could see which buttons to push.
If it only had a free arm
You almost don’t need a sewing machine anymore unless you want to do buttonholes 14:06 , embroidery
Can I use Ellageo hoops with this machine?
I just purchased that new table so thanks for all the great info.
I love this machine!
I just purchased an Evolve Baby Lock Serger; at a silent auction. I can't wait to try this way of quilt binding. Thank you for sharing this technique 🙂
Fabulous presentation, samples, educators!
Wow! I just ordered a Triumph yesterday, but had not seen anything about this fabulous table. I know what I'm using my gift card for! Thanks for the demonstration. I'll subscribe to see more :)
Morning ladies!💕
Is there a virtual option for the iQ Designer classes?
I had to pay close to $800 for the 10x10 hoop when I upgraded from Solaris 2 to Solaris 3 (Vision). You are sating it 'comes with the upgradw'..?
It's even more now. Just bought it for my new Solaris vision 3
As a long-time serger, what do you think is more valuable in a bundle when buying this machine? I'm seeing presser foots/thread/needles/plus the new table, other times I see a small percentage off, or a gift card for $499.
Nice machine
Wonderful tutorials. I’m new sewer and am learning so much from you.
I never thought to use the fusible thread! Game changer!
Not having to change the thread constantly is worth upgrading for!!!
Air threading is better than sliced bread!
I wish you would write a guide including all your great ideas. It would be worth a price to have all the information to refer to. I ❤️ my Baby Lock Triumph!
Nice, but the price.....
Promo>SM 💕
Im trying to learn my machine .Can you help me to do the stitch in the ditch.
Me, too
Me, too
Why don’t you use the chain stitch to stitch down the binding?
Why are there so many posts from people that did the Kit 3 upgrade reporting so many issues with their machines after installing them?
Because the did the upgrade themsrlves. BL was aware of the issues and was working on fixes last I heard Because I'd seen all the issues people were having, I had my dealer install it. It only took 15 min..
This was a great video, thank you. I’m going to use it tomorrow! I’m excited to dust off my Baby Lock Evolve and use my fusible thread for the first time. Small tip, though as a new user. Your digital dual feed foot switch wasn’t turned on. I’ve watched several videos about people joking “you have to remember to turn it on!” Yours was definitely off. 😢
I would love to have something like that but can’t afford it
But how much does it cost..?!
$$$$$ on the site. That means big bucks. Irs cheaper to buy a Solaris and the upgrades separately.
14,000 with about 5,000 worth of things like the magnetic hoop , feet, software etc. last i looked which was 5/2023
I don’t suppose that you ship to Australia?🇦🇺
Does this cut the jump stitches? Thanks
What is the maximum hoop size on this little machine? And can you tell me approximately what the prices of this machine?
$999

Hi what kind of machine are you using?
A great demonstration on using the serger in the sewing room. I use my serger for all the things that you demonstrate, and I just love the end result. (Though my serger is 30 years old, it is still going strong!)
I would have liked to have seen what the binding stitches looked like on the back
I like to sew the binding to the back and bring over to the front. The binding on the back will be just on the outside of the binding (on the quilt). Given that we are working with fabric and not everything is perfect (though your topstitching will be with the edge foot!), there may be some cross on the bobbin stitches between binding and the quilt. Keep that in mind when choosing your bobbin thread.
How large is the binding before you folded it.
A standard binding is 2.5" which will allow ample room for sewing with a 1/4" and then bringing forward to to cover the stitch line. Some folks use a narrower binding, but I would recommend 2.5" to start.
Very nice tutorial. If using cotton or flannel for the top, one should pre-wash for sure because those will shrink whereas the cuddle will not.
Your music is way too loud
Wow! Now I think I can use my serger for any project that needs binding. First, I have to get a serger. ;0) Thank you!!
Are The reusable paper towels bleachable ?
Great tutorial. Thank you. How wide do you make your binding strips?
Where do I find your binding holder?
Thank you for an excellent video and detailed step by step instructions.
Thank you.
Cant seem to find this file on your set. Is it still available please
This quilt by your mother-in-law is lovely.
