Oh man only your video helped me fixed my cleaning base and now it empties again! Still give me error saying the base is clogged however not -- but it empties anyway so I dont care anymore. Many many thanks!!
Thank you for your very through video. I've just followed your video took everything apart BUT still get a "There is a sealing problem with the Clean Base." Next step is to contact iRobot support and open a ticket.
Many thanks for including reassembly as I could not get the large flat bottom piece wedged back on until seeing your mention of tabs connecting the vertical chute (which stayed in place during my disassembly) to the port on it. Worked great, thanks!
This was a concise video with excellent content! Production quality wasn't great... poor lighting, and some shots had the object of interest out of the frame. But again overall excellent content and delivery. Thank you! I had been struggling for some time to get mine apart to access the the charging pads, one of which needed to be repaired due to heat damage. Again, thank you for sharing!!
Why take the two bases apart? I got the same level of clean just by unscrewing the bottom (clear) tube, which gave me access not just to that tube, but also gave me access to me jam a paper towel down through the vertical tube. The two bases do not need to come apart.
Thanks! This video was very usefull. I did not know about the screws behind the plastic sticker and I was not able to remove the back cover because of that.
Thanks Mr. Henrard, I did this a little different. However, you video showed me that my attempt, before I watched yours, received near similar results. I removed the bottom tube, then dropped a weighted line through the vertical tube from the opening on the bottom of the base to the bag connection point. Then I tied a Swifter Duster to the line and drew it thru the vertical section of the tube a few times. Finally, I reattached the bottom tube. Again, your video was very helpful, Thank-you & nice pup. 🐕
Somebody could seriously make a business out of cleaning these things! I would happily pay somebody else to do all that! 🤪

Glad it helped 😊

does this void the warrantee? my robot is 30 days old and I think the base is defective.
Lightning is very poor to see black machine in dark.

Much appreciated 👏
Thanks so much for a very useful demonstration!
Can the horizontal and vertical parts be separated? Considering buying a Roomba but I'd need to take those parts appart to fit in my luggage

Hi. Tell me please, iRobot Roomba base has a built-in fuse?
Roomba base won't turn on, could a fuse be blown?
Yes it has

Depends on your level of clogging
