GIRRLLLLL YESSSS!!!! They do not understand......that we SACRIFICE EVERYTHING FOR THEM!!! But they've never experienced life outside of prison so they are grown men "growing up" in society. Many women do not have the patience to stay with them as they mature from prison man to free man. Mine isn't even home yet but I'm in classes now to learn from other people.

Wait Mr. Creed (Mr. "Pookie") really been home 4 yrs? 😮 It really seem like he just got home. I remember those "Pookie" vlogs and I remember the count down. Seeing you guys where you are today and how far you come is so heartwarming to see. The transparency of the reality of being a prison wife, then a wife transitioning to a free man's wife, dealing with the stigma the society has around being married to a man who did prison time, dealing with the stigma of being a man who "just got out" of prison and is now married and the stigma that comes along with that the perception that people have based off reality TV, and him continuously getting acclimated to being free, getting acclimated how to move about in the free world, getting acclimated how to love on you in the free world, how to love on each other in the free world, how to love himself in the free world, how to move about in the free world with daily chores, working, getting acclimated with communication between each other in a free world because now is every day 7 days a week 24 hours a day without breaks, and communication with friends and family in the free world who might have judgment or be funny acting, and the family members who are open-minded who love on both of you and are still learning to adjust as well as you guys are, learning that it's okay for you both to have boundaries. Also how to move about in the free world as a married man and still learning each other has been AMAZING to see to. There are so many adjustments being made with you guys every single day I can't imagine because it's still new for years is still very new to being free and married. The down to earth candor the realistic conversations you have with us about what it's like, And the real raw emotions being experienced the good and the bad, is definitely eye-opening and lets us know that we I'm not watching those prison lockup stories on tv. This is real life happening nothing scripted. And there's lessons to be learned and I appreciate you both sharing your lives with us. So many women and men that have gone through the process that you guys have gone through, they have not came out on the right side of all they're things. They crashed, burned ended the relationship and friendship. Yet here you both are, 4 years later still holding on tighter than ever continuously building learning and loving on each other. And absolutely I love that you guys are in all the therapies. In a black community we are sometimes embarrassed about therapy. I remember being told in my younger years told that if we go to therapy we're crazy and so a lot of us don't go from embarrassment We don't want to be labeled. So to hear you guys say you're in therapy And that is nothing to be ashamed of, was awesome to hear. The more we talk about therapy the more we can normalize it and maybe more of us will go. It makes me smile to see you guys! I don't catch every video when it drop, I will be on replay at some point. I'm always rooting for you guys and sending my love from Michigan 💪🏾💜🖤

Yes, so absolutely completely true...gurl don't I know lol.....but my coworkers, because of my religious beliefs, thought my husband was some foreigner waiting on his visa to move to the USA 🤦🏾‍♀️.....I just don't correct them because what's the point but my family and friends know where he is ans they accepted it way better then I thought they would so I was scared and ashamed for no real reason other than my own fears

I appreciate your candor of being a prison wife. It can take a toll on your mental health. But you still 10 toes down with him and he's standing ten toes down with you and I love to see it. This is the happy ending a lot of people don't get when their mate comes home. The good, the bad, the perfect. 💕😩🥰 But yaass it's SPICES TURN.🥰

I agree it wasn't worth the risk. He was too close home. Work release and being monitored had to suck. But meticulous planning I'm sure was something to behold. But even with it all you both was together for the part during the transition of him coming home.
