My 2006. Just looking at what's been done and how it's looking. Rides amazing. Very comfortable and fast with great handling.

Here is a video of my 1970 XS 650 running. I know a few people had asked me about it and I wanted to make sure that I put something out there so you could hear it start run and hear what it sounds like when you're going to be riding it.

Anyone can confirm that this is okay to put back together?

Still getting erratic starting even though I've replaced the number four gear and tightened the clip in the vice. I see a little bit of wear on the gears but it's likely just from the last time I put it back together. I am not seeing what else might be causing this problem. Any clues?

Weird thing is that the bike will indeed start and it runs fine, but I need to address that sound. When I got the bike it would simply spin freely(no engagement). I resolved that by fixing the bendix gear issue, but now I have this. At least it starts!
