@AmericanIdolLawGal in the end I bought pliers that clip shut, and was then able to remove it. But due to trying to just pull it off with my hands (using considerable effort) I ended up injuring myself. The use of pliers needs to be included in the instructions.

How can I stop rotation the base? Can I? If possible, please let me know how to stop rotating.
If you come here and watch the video, I hope you read the comments first, because this method works best if no one has sat on it for a long time, which is pretty much impossible. I also tried this, but apart from smashing the outer part of the gas lift, nothing happened. BUT the solution is much simpler! The chair must be taken apart into 2 parts: the seat iron and star legs are needed, only the sitting part is not. You have to spray the joint point with WD40 and let it stand for a few hours (I sprayed it for 2 days but it was unnecessary to use it, but I went for sure) and then support it on a table that is as stable as possible so that the star leg is stretched against the table, the seat iron is at the bottom and you have to round it nicely with a hammer to knock You have to put some force into it, but it's out in a maximum of 1 minute and doesn't damage the gas spring.
I have an office chair design that I have checked on all platforms and realized that the idea has never been conceptualized. Although I lack the means to bring this idea to a finished product due to several factors I would really appreciate any help, I just viewed the design story of your brand and am positively sure that my design concept will work with yours we can integrate my idea into your existing product or come up with a new one. Excellent chair that I recently bought, I just can't understand the function of the crank, located on the right, next to the lever to adjust the height.
It’s to tighten or losen the tension of the back when you recline. Can the back be locked in various recline positions? Or is it just either locked upright or unlocked?
