Secret Night Gang - "When Will The Sun Rise Again?" live at The Marrs Bar, Worcester
Nice insight into what's going down jazzwise in Worcester near Birmingham (UK). Great work by Dave Fuller and The Marrs Bar.

Beautiful track 🎤🎷🎸 Love it.! 👏🏻
Awesome capture and a great tune.
The world has been starved of musicianship and "lots of notes" for a long time. These guys were fantastic and original when I saw them at Load Street Studios.
Must say I do like the way you edit good sound is a bonus
Thanks. I use a Zoom H5 for audio. This was recorded using just the built-in condenser mics. I master the audio track in Logic Pro (usually using the built in Mastering Assistant). Unfortunately my recorder has developed a fault (intermittent hissing / noise on the left mic channel - will probably need to replace the mic module).
Looking forward to seeing Emily Francis and her group play Thursday 19 at The Marrs Bar in Worcester. ...You know I often think that even people who only really know/listen to pop music would thoroughly enjoy experiencing the deeper fields of musical expression that instrumental music can conjure. So many times I have heard how so many people from all walks of life are blown away when they actually see just how immense the Grand Canyon actually is when you are stood in front of it. The same could be said for this genre of music that can flood the human mind with unexpected euphoria and new inspiration for the listener. For anyone watching this do venture down to the Marrs Bar this Thursday and I am sure you will be rewarded with a sumptuous feast of exciting musical colours. There is a fathomless treasure trove of sheer musical joy waiting to be discovered for those that are prepared to push their curiosity levels just that little bit beyond the usual media driven wagon.
Fantastic ❤
So very good!
Which care home was this recorded in?
Eeeeeuuuuueeeeeeee
That was awful. Really.
You just may be on to something.
...and the crowd went mild.
As promised. Thank you!
You're welcome!
Surprised he didn't play "loser"
Rockin! Cheers from Redlands, CA, USA
Torvil and Dean won a Gold Medal skating to this song
That might’ve been Ravel’s Bolero, but thanks for watching!
Superb! Please post 'Cause We Ended As Lovers' as we missed it
Sadly never got to see Gil sing this live, but I've seen Brian Jackson do it twice. Have to say this a respectful and brilliant version, wish I'd been able to attend this one!
Thank you for hosting us Dave!
Just love it...
I've been following Iain's work/music for a while now. Although we all may extrapolate things from what we hear or see of a creative person's work, it's nice to get some "verbal" insight into them as well.
Nice!
I really like this everything just gels and on my way above av hi/fi system sounds good also like the video editing - captured perfect
Thanks for the lovey feedback. Recorded on 3 x GoPro and a Canon R50. Sound recorded on Zoom H5, mix of built in condenser mics at the back of the room and FoH stereo mix, mastered in Logic Pro. Video edited with Final Cut Pro for iPad. Only been doing this for a year, but having fun with it!
Badasses
Good band!
Good tenor sound!
Great interview, Dave. I've subscribed and am looking forward to your next ones.
Thanks William. I’ll be interviewing Iain Ballamy tomorrow, should be published by the evening.
Super cool!

🔥🔥🔥
Beautiful rendition guys....... My big brother brought this album home n we played the grooves off it... Excellent job.
Woaw Fantastic. Very good musicerande and awesome groove. Wicke 🤓
Yay, I got a mention! 🙂
Tool Fan Tim!
Excellent band and a very good performance. The first time I had visited the venue and will be back. It is a venue, and promoter, who will bring a fresh, younger, attitude to jazz in the Midlands and would recommend any jazz fan to come along to encourage such ideas, cheers
Thank you so much for your support. Look forward to seeing you again at The Marr’s Bar soon!
Full of magic music, amazing solos
I had to leave about 30 seconds in to catch my train back to Stourbridge so I am incredibly grateful for this. I'll be back!
Thanks for coming down. Hope we see you again soon.
Great groove 👌
ok how loud does it get. we want places to play but cant deal with the loudness we find in pubs in Worcs.. also is it all jazz , not our scene really..... help we need places to play
Great stuff! Have you got the first song they played, Palm Grease I think it was?
Got the whole show 🙂
Great interview back and forth 😊! (and even a bit on Steve Gadd ❤!)
🤩🤩
Scott is the best !!
Your jazz evenings are my new favourite thing!
Thanks Tim! Appreciate your support.
Did not expect to see my face at the end haha
What a band! Amazing stuff! Would love to see them live.
He's not just insanely fast, he's musical and original. I fucking love him. So unassuming too. I left a comment on one of his videos, and rather than 'a heart felt' reply he actually wrote quite a long response! Class. All I need now is a Phatboy plectrum and I'm away. 🤔 Great band!
Not bad for a pub band. 😉
Great playing from all off you :)
Thank you for the chance to see and hear this!
