Got tired of 12v pumps and my CO2 tank. Figured for $150 I'd give this Fanttik X9 Ultra a try. Super fast super impressed!
1999 Jeep XJ Custom Installing 3" Fog Lights In The Grill

Had some issues with the fogs when mounted below the bumper hitting snow and moving. After seeing a video where someone decided to mount them in the grill I decided to do that also. Not exactly a how-to video but gives a general overview.

Переглядів 3,9 тис.10 місяців тому
If you like the look of your factory flares on your Jeep Cherokee this is the video you are looking for. This project was done on a 1999 XJ. In this video I give a overview of relocating your factory/stock flares up to gain more room for larger tires.

Man that stance os perfect
I wanted to come back and post my experience with this mod as I am very happy with it both in form and function. For now I have just raised the front up 1.5-1.75 inches and I did not move the flair back at all, just up. I find that I hit the front lower flare corner almost as much as I hit the lower rear section of the flare and it is easier IMO and cleaner to cut the flare at the rear. This made moving the flare very easy as I could just measure straight up 1.5-1.75 inches and drill. I also trimmed the bottom rear of the front flares to give a bit more clearance there. Some specs: 4.5 short arm lift ("3 inch" BDS springs in the front with a spacer 33x10.5x15 on 3.75bs aluminum procomp 69 wheels 3x hockey puck bump stops up front on the axle Factory front XJ bump stops converted to TJ bump stop pockets and TJ factory style bump stops at the frame I recently got back from moab where we ran 5x level 6 and 7 trails including steel bender and metal masher and I'm almost 100% happy with this setup. Despite having 3 inches of hockey puck bump stops and the front flares raised up 1.75 inches I was still able to hit and bend the fenders directly above the centerline of the tire. I also popped the passenger flare off. This was with the front sway bar disconnected. Since I have already converted to TJ style bump stops in the front I am going to run a metalcloak progressive bump stop intended for TJs and JKs and that should give just enough resistance to prevent future contact. One last note: I used RTV to secure the lower portion of the flare to the fender rather than though bolting it with a self tapper. This way there is some give should the tire, or something else, try to rip the flare off. Thanks again for the inspiration. I love this mod.
Good job! Looks great.
That is very cool man. I'm one of those guys that really doesn't like the look of cut fenders without flares.
iceland flares look great on a lifted Xj with big wheels
Good idea thanks for sharing
Nice work!👍🏽
What is the name of the Blocks that you used and where can I purchase them?
It’s 1x1.5” Delrin plastic I had from another project. So basically anything that’s 1” in height will get you the exact height with the harbor freight flood lights.
Thank you @@jeremyhorst
Wow so beautiful I have 9.25 celestron with this system mid like to know what equipment you use .
Hyperstar adaptor from Starizona and the asi294mc with the Idas NBZ UHS!
