I don't understand how you can ask for more, every NC team has a special player, Jimbo is in contention for the playoff every year. You are very entitled if you expect him to prove he can win without Winston, he already had proven he can win. Double digit win #s in each season without Winston. No matter how many games Are played each year.

A man can only admit when he is wrong, there needs to be changes at FSU. This is unacceptable.

We're completely stagnant, we sign incredible recruiting classes and can never capitalize on the talent. At this rate its gonna be the same thing every year, a 9-10 win season with a bowl game appearance or even worse as it looks right now. We need to be chasing championships not bowl games.

I'm so glad to see a post from an intelligent fan! See I'm a Noles fan and I'm a realistic fan and not one of the blind ones. Do I have faith the Noles will win? Of course I do. But I also recognize the magnitude of this almost once in a life time college football season opener and also am hoping for an injury free game. The way I see the game is this. The Noles are as talented or more than any team in the nation and probably deeper. I think the have the best secondary in football, a great front 7. So defensively I have no worries. Offensive line is my concern. They have the players that if on the same page could be a top 10 line. And of course as always they have an abundance of skilled players on offense. So what I'm saying is the Noles are going to have to be clicking on all cylinders and if they are, they should beat Bama. Because, even though Bama has lost so many players to the next level, they still have Saban as coach. And as much as I don't like him, he's the coach that all others are chasing. Even Jimbo, who came from Satan's coaching tree. But if there's one coach as close to Saban in football it him. But we know Nick will have his team ready to go. Playing smart fundamentally sound, hard nose football as he does year after year. With that all being said, I don't think I can ever remember being as excited to watch a season opener. It's great for football they're playing out of the gate instead of having 3 cream puffs to start the season. Oh yeah, one thing I forgot about the Noles defense is that we have the best player in the country with Darwin James. So again, here's to an injury free entertaining opening weekend of college football! Good luck everyone with whoever you root for!

Hey Wes, I really do enjoy talking football without smack. Theres a lot of talk about blowout each way but man I just don't see it. This game is like an evenly balanced pendulum. The slightest thing will top it the other way

I'm one of the most competitive ppl around and I'm a Noles fan through and through, but a realistic fan and not blinded by the Fandom. If I think the Noles will lose I don't care to say it. Well, I care, hate saying it, but I will. But thank you for your reply, I really thought if I got one it would be from one of the nut jobs, saying some like I'm not a true Noles fan if I talk that way or something stupid. But the smack talk needs to be tasteful. I've seen some attack players coaches to a personal level like they know them and have all their lives. No room for that garbage!

Wes, I feel the same. I'm not sure how good our dline is going to be. We have two new defensive ends. Our back 7 will be fine. So who knows? I think both teams are curious about one side of their line vs the other.
