I saw this about 35 years or so ago with about 3 or 4 other young guys. Ages 19 to 23 and full of testosterone. In one of their living rooms. Daylight but getting dark. None of us had yet seen this movie before and we were excited. We were all quiet. Intent. Windows and doors open. Warm, beautiful autumn day. A storm had moved in and we were oblivious. Suddenly a huge gust slammed both doors shut, so hard and so loud it seemed to shake the house. We all jumped so high off the floors, couches and screamed like little girls..... just at the point where they were in the underground area in the cave. 😂 You could hear the distant moaning. Perfect! ❤ We laughed SO hard!!! 😂😂😂

The more I watch this movie, the more I can empathize with Captain Rhodes, to a degree. The guy is an asshole, but I can understand being completely fed up with the situation and wanting so say f*** it and find your own way.

I can watch the trilogy time after time and still find new things to enjoy about them. They are perfection and have aged so well

This is most likely the best zombie movie in existence. The way it portrays the degrading of the human psyche really shows as to why a zombie apocalypse would actually be terrifying.

Underrated entry in the series, though my favorites are still 2 and Curse. Edit: Yo the swapping out the bullets scene is still, to this day, maybe the most diabolical way any slasher has killed anyone to me.

I always admire american movies their camera quality is hd even it's an old movie cos i noticed some philippines movie even it was in the 90s the quality is trash and 80s movies are too dark you will feel like you are a blind person

You do realize that 90% of "chicken run" is "the great escape" Recycled. Presume me you don't know The green escape is Movie based on a book based on actual events during World War 2 Where a large collection of Allied prisoners From different countries Get captured and try to escape.

Unless you're old as xxxt like me, you dont realize how phenominal an African American hero is in a movie, or TV show in '68. Bill Cosby in I Spy, George Takei & Nichelle Nichols in Star Trek were my heroes growing up....

The lead actor, Duane Jones, playing the Hero, Ben, had an amazing career in academia, theater & movies, tho most, he said, remembered him for this role. Notice the similarities between this & the Walking Dead TV show?

If your zombies aren't dripping with social commentary then you have bad zombies This is a top 5 movie for me and set the path for my love of zombies broadly and Romero specifically.

This is the most interesting of the Romero zombie films to me. A lot to look at and keep up with. The plot is great and the special effects are top notch. Like loving a nightmare and having a good time.
