My great grandmother and grandfather grew up in the area. Years ago we took a trip down to see the house they grew up in. Part of that trip was stopping at this hotdog stand and I’ll never forget it. Dude behind the counter looked like he worked there his whole life and they had a mortal kombat machine in the corner.

When I was a boy I lived across the street from Jerry's hotdogs. I ate them all the time! Best thing I ever ate next to Elizabeth Pizza across the street. Thank you for doing this video. A great childhood memory brought back to life...Thank you!!

I need to try this place. So far my favorite is The Hot Grill in Clifton.

When I was working in Jersey City, NJ back in the 1970's, there was a food truck named "TWAN'S" under the NJ turnpike at Montgomery St. He has the best Hot Dogs with mustard, onions and chile! he was there for a long time about 30 + years and put 2 or 3 of his kids through college!
