Gramophone spoke of“spellbinding” playing, and the Los Angeles Times hailed “a compendium of grace”. All attributes applicablealso to this edition, featuring eight previously unreleased performances, whichdives deeply into the magic of this special event, a one-night-only coming together of a Jarrett trio with Gary Peacock and Paul Motian. Remembering the "Numinor" from this record, which is unforgettable in my memory, and the improvised concert of the century in Cologne, which was also thankfully recorded under the most adverse circumstances at the beginning of 1975 - as well as some other unique LP releases of milestones of that year such as Ralph Towner's "Solstice" , John Abercrombie's "Timeless" , or Philip Catherine's "Guitars" - I've been asking myself ever since what was going on with this 1975 that has so determined my musical world for 50 years...
Keith Jarrett, I listened to his piano improvs in University 52 years ago, a true genius.
