I'm a bit speechless right now. I mean, I had high expectations to the results, but this was... As I said in the description of my last video: I'm not very familiar with this band. Of course, I know a couple of songs from them that I like... a bit.
But I knew two things about Iron Maiden that were way more important to me: they have three guitarists and a classical trained Opera-singer. So, this was more like a call of duty to me :D
Now, that I've finished the opener of the next great project, I think that all of them have classical experience: what a great song for an orchestral arrangement!
Despite the ton of work that I've put into this piece for almost five days, I've always been completely relaxed - except at the end, because I couldn't wait to record all of this.
This is my most complicated creation so far, and maybe the most beautiful.
Can't really tell how I feel right now :)
Change notes:
- added some staccato notes here and there
- at one point they use an octaver to create a doubling effect on the melody: usually I would have just used another group of instruments (octave down) to reach that effect...but there wasn't any group left, so I just cut that
